You know I never really gave it much thought where outside the U.S. I might want to live. I have visited several of our states, but I like mine best. Coffee was a taste I only acquired about three years ago, and I like creamers and cinnamon in my coffee. I have had bad cups from diners and I hate Starbucks coffee.

The English culture is quite appealing to me and I would choose that country.

They have too much rain.
I wanted to live in Canada years ago, didn't want to go back to Holland. It was perfect. Then I visited in the winter.
I stick with Belgium.

I was under the impression that Canada was cold and snowy all the time! LOL But we have some members on here who live in a different part where they have beautiful winter weather! I didn't realize how wrong I was about a country!

British Columbia is nice in the south west corner and especially in Victoria on Vancouver Island.

MC You would really like the sunshine coast where one of my daughters just moved to. But Victoria sook is beautiful too. Both of those areas are lovely and slightly untamed.

I was baptised a Lutheran too.

My mom sent us to a Lutheran church when we were kids. She still lives in Chilliwack. She's 95 this year!

I often wonder what it would be like to live somewhere like Longyearbyen. Apparently around now is the time they have an annual event to celebrate seeing the sun for the first time in four months. The flipside is 24-hour daylight in the summer. I like unusual places :)

There's a place in Alaska called Ninitska, I think it is, that has the sun like that that barely touches the earth. I'm not sure how that affects the sun's direction tho?
