Tonight (Oz time) I am cooking pork Korma. Here's what is in it
1 chopped brown onion
1 finely diced large carrot
1 finely diced small potato
Kernels from 1 cob of corn
about 1/2 cup of peas
1/2 cup of desiccated coconut (or 1 full cup of coconut flesh if you do not have the desiccated coconut)
about 1/2 cup of coconut milk/cream
Chicken Korma sauce (mine is Patack's)
about 500g coarsely chopped pork ( that's about 1 pound)
some vegetable stock (about 600 ml ... 1 pint)
some couscous (not the wholemeal kind) ... about 250 g dry weight (1/2 pound)

I cooked the meat and vegetables in about half of the stock before adding most of the liquids and coconut using a 1000 Watt microwave at 50% power for 15 minutes.
Then I added the rest of the wet ingredients and cooked in the microwave at 30% power for 55 minutes.
It looks roughly like this
But in an ordinary bowl.
I cooked some rice as a side dish.
The Patak's korma looked like this
The result was very yummy and aside from taking a while to cook it involved very little preparation work.
