So my friend, there is repentance involved. I can't remember ever reading the word repent or repentance in your posts? don't the gays have to repent and stop being gay in order to receive redemption and eternal life?

Because we do have to turn away from our sins. Stop living in sin. We will be forgiven if we were gay and turn away from is and Stopped doing it.

Be all that you can be. Try telling the Military Recruiter that your gay and he will show you the door. The gay guy could lie and get signed up. If he is found out later, then they boot him out.
At least it used to be like that?

Scripture says, we can not serve two Masters. So, isnt continuing in a gay lifestyle and professing to be Christian also serving two Masters? (Trying to)

I have to admit, that's quite a bit of great scriptures there, brother. It's too bad that none of those scriptures support your view. Nowhere do those scriptures say anything about homosexuals. What connects those scriptures to homo's?

Yesterday, I looked up every scripture in the Bible which speaks about sexual immorality, Let me know if you want to read them and I'll post every one for you.

Yes they are sinners and so God loved them also and did for them. But it is not saying, but I Love God that saves a person. It is repenting from our sins and turning away from them and not continuing the lifestyle of those sins.

Besides, what makes you think that by accepting the gays, that I would be walking in love towards them? Would I not have to lie to them or at least restrain myself from speaking the truth to them? So wherein is this love that you speak of that I should have for them in restraining myself from the truth?

No brother. I will walk in love towards my fellow men and women of the earth, and in this love I will not lie to them. Speaking truth is love. If I restrained myself from speaking the truth then I would be coming into agreement with the spirit of sexual immorality which is behind their being gay.

I have to bust your bubble. There isnt going to be any gays in heaven. Gyas will be tossed into the lake of fire.

Situational:

You're walking down the street and are passing a school. And you look at the kids playing outside at school, and you see a child playing with what looks like a real gun. What would you do?

If you go up in the schoolyard and start yelling at the kid to stop it and put it down because it is dangerous, then you may be seen as a mean man and who knows? Perhaps even a threat to the child! That might be the childs gun, or his dad's. Not your business! MYOB!

So if you myob and keep walking, then you have not loved or respected the child. You have accepted that he has a gun and you keep walking. Is that love?
You kept walking to"respect" that child, and you get another 1/2 block down the road and then you hear several gun shots. A child has died...

What was the bigger wrong? Instructing the child that it is dangerous and he could hurt somebody in a firm voice, because, this isnt TV. This is real. OR...walking away without a warning to them and after you said nothing, the child died? It's pretty obvious, isnt it?

I think your heart is in the right place, love people. But you have not pondered the consequences enough so you havent thought it out very well.

I heard a certain Pastors message one time, it was about Sodom & Gomorrah that God destroyed. He said that God did not destroy S&G because most of the people were gay. Those are simply sinners and we all are sinners, so big deal, right? So why the need to destroy them?

Easy he said. Because all of non gays accepted the gays as neighbors and citizens and did not speak out to them that ther is a danger in their lifestyle. There wasnt even 5 people in those towns that did not accept the gays, and would speak truth to them, (Remeber the deal God made? If there be 50 righteous, spare it Lord? 45? 35? 10? 5??!!
Not even 5, so God destroyed the righteous in those cities along with the sinners, because they threw in with them and accepted them. That's why S&G got destroyed. Because of the acceptance by the righteous people of those cities.
Just be nice to us and love us, the gays said and is what you are saying to me.

Gays can be outcasts, or...I could be an outcast with them! Uhh, no thanks. I've only read the bible cover to cover 5 or 6 times now and sure feel like I have a good handle on tis subject. But I've been wrong before. Can you show me?

I think I understand where you are coming from. Your heart may be in the right place, but after the Lord saved my life that one day when I had a seizure and rolled my truck on the freeway I understood that the Lord is serious and I owed Him my life. So I did repent of my sins and return to Him in a very serious way. So I dove into that book of Scriptures and prayer and began seeking Him out. You know what happened? Nothing. But I still knew. I would have been dead. Dead in my sins. He saved my life, I still owe Him my life. I was diligent and continue to be. You know what happened? Nothing, lol.
I hung in there because I know He saved my life. The last words out of my mouth before I would have died, were, Lord be with me...I "Know" He saved my life. I reached out to Him. Help!!! And He loves us so He did help. So I continued in that faith...

Until one day out of the blue...boom, the Lord answers a prayer for me. Supernaturally. I felt so blessed! It encouraged my Faith. So, young Christian that I am, started asking for more help with lots of things. I have seen so many miracles that happen supernaturally that, I now know down to the very core of my being...this is real. God IS real! This isn't what they taught me in Sunday School when I was a kid. This was beyond that. Very much so beyond that. So every single word in the Bible is true. This is not namby pamby white picket fence Christianity. This is real and this is much bigger than the watered down & whitewashed Sunday School Christianity of yesterday.

What does all that have to do with our discussion about gays? I'll tell you. Yesteryear Christianity says, Jesus loves us all, so we must love all people also and Jesus, in His love walked around healing people, casting out evil spirits, blessing people, feeding them, helping them...This is true!

I was raised that, when someone comes over and into our house, you offer them a drink. When I started dating who was my wife, I could not go to her house to visit my girl, without having a plate of food set before me! That's real hospitality! Good on them Polish people for that! I learned. After she left me, I almost died and got older and clung to the Lord.

And I recall (in scripture) that one time when Jesus was out walking around loving people as is His Fathers will, he made a Whip that day and went into the Temple with it and drove the liars and profiteers out. He went off on them!

Jesus was perfect and never sinned, right brother? So why didn't Jesus walk in love towards the moneychangers? They're just trying to make a buck!

The moneychangers were tired of operating in the closet. They wanted to be in the Temple! The gays and gay supporters are now asking Me, to let them into MY Temple? With the accepted knowledge that they are living a sinful lifestyle totally in opposition to God's wishes? Sexual immorality. It isn't just the gays, no young man can find a decent wife anymore because they are all 304's and are are proud of having had sex with 800 or 1000 different men. They want to come in too. Do I let them in too with the gays? Or should I make a whip like Jesus did?

I chose to make a whip. I wish they would go back into the closet.

Hey! We could send them all to California! Lol.

The point is, you havent thought it through good enough to see the truth. You are correct that we, as Christians are to walk in Love towards our Brothers and Sisters. but there will come times where it will be a lie of the enemy and you will need to pick up your whip.
So my water is off because of a leak, my phone is dead so the gay man must leave my porch, do I have to get my Whip?!

It all comes down to they must be repentant of their sin and sexual immorality. When they re not, they have to go, NOW.

Besides, if society accepts gay people as being gay Americans and A-Ok people...then what happens?

The drag queens come back out and want drag queen story hour to be reinstated in the kindergarten schools and for them to be accept also?
Then the Pedophiles would say, hey why not us? Don't discriminate against us?!
And I have heard that soe people like to have sex with animals! (That's super weird!) But where should we draw the line brother?

Would you let all those people in also? Should we love them and accept them?

So I went and shut off the forum and figured to give that a break for awhile and watch some videos on youtube. What pops up in my feed? This one. Brother I tell you what, it's sorta spooky because this sort of thing happens to me a lot. I can be having some sort of theological conversation on a forum and then a video pops up immediately that is related to the conversation on the forum, lol!

Soo, hey, I might as well share it. It may help shine some light on the subject. Less than 5 minutes long too!

Wow it did it again. It had another relevant video on my feed. This Pastor talks about the Armor of God, and he talks about gays, trans, pedophiles and bestiality and explains how they are all under the same spirit.



It's impossible to be born gay or anything else sans men or women. All those different sects of sexually immoral people are all controlled by the same spirit, the spirit of sexual immorality. He isnt allowed to force anything on anybody.

It's like Adam & Eve in the Garden. She had to accept the invitation to taste of that fruit...thereby inviting in evil spirits They came into agreement with evil spirits. Same thing. Demons cant just possess anyone they want to. They have to be invited n.

We are told in scripture to diligently guard our hearts. Suddenly we are talking about the armor of God. What protects the heart? The Breastplate of Righteousness! What's it say? Put on the full armor of God, not just your favorite pieces, but all 7 parts of it.

When I do that, I know that, I can't give this unrepentant sexually immoral person a cup of water or invite Him in! Please leave..You do not invite wicked people into your home. Into your inner circle, lol! You can't. It does sound Kumbay ya to walk in love towards everybody, but the reality of it is, it doesn't include the money changers or the gays.

Now if a repentant homosexual showed up at my door, seeking info about God and getting deliverance, then by all means brother, step in and I'll make us some coffee and I want to give you this Bible, the word of God...

But not the moneychangers, not the gays!! That is opening a door for the spirit of sexual immorality. Remember Sodom & Gomorrah !!

James 4:7 tells us that we are to surrender–or submit to God–resist the enemy, and the enemy will flee. The breastplate of righteousness helps you resist the enemy. Stay alert about your daily decisions. Ask God to search you, know your anxious thoughts, and see if there is any offensive way in you. Resist him and he will flee from you!
