Glorying in the Cross not freewill of man ! 3

Also when stated that those whom Christ died for are redeemed BY HIS BLOOD from a vain conversation received from their fathers 1 Pet 1:18-20

18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from or away from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

That's why its impossible for the false teachers in 2 Pet 2:1

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Its impossible for them to have been redeemed by Christ's Blood, for His Blood would redeem them out of false religion, as it does from all iniquity Titus 2:14

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from apo all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

That word from apo is the greek prep which means:

of separation of local separation, after verbs of motion from a place i.e. of departing, of fleeing, ...
of separation of a part from the whole where of a whole some part is taken

of any kind of separation of one thing from another by which the union or fellowship of the two is destroyed

The redeemed one by the blood will be separated from false teachers, or they will separate from true believers like 1 Jn 2:19

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

Now these things Titus 2:14; 1 Pet 1:18 are the result and effect of Christ Crucified, not a maybe or possible result, but a sure result, and so True Believers shall Glory in the Cross as Paul saith here Gal 6:14

14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

With Him we receive all things to be saved !

Rom 8:32

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Notice, how shall He not with Him ALSO freely give us all things ! The Us here are those whom Christ was delivered up for, every last one of them. Remember He was delivered for their offences Rom 4:25

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

So when God gave His Son for those He did die for Jn 3:16

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

When God gave His Son for that World of People in Jn 3:16, He gave also with Him, that word with the prep syn means accompany or come along with, to join !

In other words With God giving Christ for those He gave Him for, Joined with Giving Christ was also all things given freely that results in their full and complete Salvation, as the writer of Hebrews indicate Heb 6:9

9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation or Christ, though we thus speak.

Christ is Our Salvation if we are indeed saved ! Ps 68:20

He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.

Christ in His Death was given as a Covenant of the People Isa 42:6-7

6 I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

With Christ He gives them Spiritual Sight, opens up their spiritually blind eyes to See the Son, their Covenant Jn 6:40

40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

You have to see Him to believe on Him, and so is given them release from the prison of unbelief and spiritual darkness.

See unbelief is an imprisonment. Paul writes in Rom 11:32

32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

That word concluded is the greek word sygkleiō and it means:

I.to shut up together, enclose

II.to shut up on all sides, shut up completely

That's an imprisonment, God's Judgment for sin in Adam was to imprison, consign , enclose them in Unbelief or dispbedience for a Purpose of having mercy on them, through Christ being given to them a Covenant, and His Death shall be credited with bringing them out of the prison of unbelief and disobedience !

Also included in that giving them all things with Christ Rom 8:32, He gives them a New Heart to Believe Ezekiel 36:26-27

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

That's How they come to believe and Repent, because by giving them a New Heart and putting His Spirit in them, He causes them to keep His commandments and DO THEM !

So you see, everything for Salvation and living unto God was given along with Christ Rom 8:32 !

I know the followers of antichrist cannot receive this blessed Truth ! 22

Christ's Own Testimony !

Christ's own testimony is that His death alone saves those He died for, by this He speaks in Jn 12:23-24

23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Jesus here is stating how the Son of man shall be Glorified, by indicating the sure effects of His Death of His dying. He is that Corn of wheat that which fall into the Ground and dies [signifying His Death] and by that bringeth forth fruit much fruit !

This fruit that His dying produces is Salvation, the Conversion of Souls, New Life ! To deny this is to deny His very words, and shows that we are against Him and His Cross, its in fact antichrist !

The Basis for Spiritual Life !

Christ's Finished Work for those He died for, is the basis for the Spirits Work for them and in them. Christ's Work for them by the Cross , is what makes them Righteous before God's Law and Justice as though they never have sinned Isa 53:11

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. or

Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied;
by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant,
make many to be accounted righteous,
and he shall bear their iniquities.

Rom 5:19b

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

And based on that, the Holy Spirit must do a work in them by first showing them the finished work and the Righteousness that it ut upon their account, this He does by the Instrumentality of the Gospel Rom 1:16-17

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

That Righteousness of God revealed to Faith, is the Righteousness that was imputed to ones account because of the Finished work of Christ that put away their sins that had been imputed to Him 2 Cor 5:21 , The Spirit shows that finished Work to sinners Christ died for, when He also gives them New Life !

Doesn't scripture talk about an unforgiveable sin?
Mathew 12:

31Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Prophet, Priest, and King !

The Lord Jesus Christ in His Mediatorial Person, as Prophet, Priest, and King , is the same for all those He died for. He is certainly their Great High Priest, who gave Himself a sacrifice for them Heb 2:17

17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

He was Christ their sacrifice 1 Cor 5:7

7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

Now if He was Our Sacrifice as High Priest, He must be our King, for in this He is the Anti Type of Melchizadek, and as King, He shall rule and apply the Benefits of His Death / Sacrifice, He has all power to do that, while else would He mention that fact of Himself having all power in Heaven and Earth, when sending His Messengers out into the World to Evangelize those He is a High Priest unto Matt 28:18-20

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

This automatically implies they will be in a teachable condition Spiritually !

Also, He is their Prophet to give them Spiritual Knowledge of their Salvation through Him Isa 42:6

6 I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

The word light means: spiritual light of instruction ! The word teach in Matt 28:19 Matheteuo it means the same thing, to instruct !

This is world wide because His Covenant People are in all nations ! Lk 1:77

77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people[jew and gentile alike] by the remission of their sins,

This giving knowledge is also instruction, for the word Instruct means:

to furnish with knowledge, especially by a systematic method; teach; train; educate.

Jn 1:9

9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

Every man here is limited to the Covenant People, The Elect of God out of all the world, The word lighteth Photizo also means:

to enlighten, spiritually, imbue with saving knowledge to instruct, to inform, teach
to give understanding to

Jn 1:9 and Lk 1:77 are speaking of the same thing, to the same People !

All for whom sins He died as High Priest, He gives them as their Prophet a Saving Knowledge of it !

So all of what He is as their Covenant Mediator, Prophet, King and Priest has been engaged on their behalf, in their Redemption and Salvation ! 22

Thats false because its only partially true. Sure there are benefits the saved will receive in the future in the glorified state, but they received reconciliation[were reconciled to God] by His death in their unconverted state. Thats plainly stated Rom 5:10

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Why is this benefit/blessing being overlooked, minimized or denied ?
@brightfame52, it's in spite of the fact that we were God's enemies, God came to us to make us his friends, and thus we are. We were lost, and God found us and changed our lives. That's what Paul is describing, @brightfame52. Read the whole context. Paul is writing about believers who were God's enemies but whom God changed into his friends. They aren't reconciled when they are enemies but become reconciled during the change that God initiates.

Rom 5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Rom 5:2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Rom 5:3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
Rom 5:4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,
Rom 5:5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
Rom 5:6 For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
Rom 5:7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die—
Rom 5:8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:9 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.
Rom 5:10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
Rom 5:11 More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
Rom 5:12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned—
Rom 5:13 for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law.
Rom 5:14 Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come.
Rom 5:15 But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man's trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many.
Rom 5:16 And the free gift is not like the result of that one man's sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification.
Rom 5:17 For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.

Lest it all be in vain !

All for whom Christ died for, the True Christ of scripture that is, and not the false christ of freewillism and arminianism, it [His Death/ Blood] would be in vain if everyone He died for did not have it sprinkled [applied] to their conscience by the Holy Spirit of Promise; Peter therefore writes 1 Pet 1:1:1-2

Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

BTW, this verse condemns all false religion, because it actually means that the Blood of Christ, and its Blessings are Applied to those it was shed for by the Spirit causing Gospel Obedience !

Heb 12:24

24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Christ's death is the death of the testator Heb 9:16-17, and so the blood of the New Testament must be applied to the beneficiaries, which are all of the Many of Matt 26:28

28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

This Blood Sprinkling was not just for jews whom Christ would die for, but for people in many nations Isa 52:13-15

13 Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled [His Resurrection and Exaltation out of the dead], and be very high [At the Right Hand of God].

14 As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:

15 So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.

The significance of this is because of the Abrahamic Covenant Gen 17:5

5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

The Sprinkling is a Spiritual Application by the Spirit, which is a Blessing of Abraham unto the elect Gentiles of Abraham's Seed Gal 3:13-14

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Hence the Sprinkling of the Blood of Jesus Christ is connected to the Spirit 1 Pet 1:2

2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

And this Blood Sprinkling by the Spirit is aplied to the consious of all of the Many who had an interest in His Blood Shed, the redeemed of the Covenant Heb 9:13-14

13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:

14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Its impossible to be among the Many here Matt 26:28

28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

And it not result in the application here Heb 9:14

14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 22

They aren't reconciled when they are enemies

False and flat out denial of the Truth. Its plainly stated, they were reconciled to God by His death when being enemies Rom 5:10

10 For if, when we[believers] were enemies,[present tense] we were reconciled[past tense] to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

So you are denying the Truth of what Christs Death accomplished.

I'm saying, @brightfame52, that we were enemies of God whom he reconciled to himself. Are you saying that unbelievers are reconciled to God even though they will continue in their old, non-faith ways? Is that what you're saying?
