I am not trying to twist what you are saying.

I have been to what would be called a Messianic Jewish service, and I got you must keep the law of Moses. The circumcisn party admits to Jesus, but says you must also keep the law of Moses (thus putting people into the bondage of the law).
The sign out front does not mean inside there is purity inside the people inside the building or organization.

it is a matter of what is inside the individual, and I think that is what you are saying.

I think some Jewish persons have come to accept Jesus as savior, but the circumcision party (still in existence in 2021), causes them to not affiliate themselves with other Christians (Jew and Gentile alike). Believe in heart and confess with mouth is needed by everyone.

I can shout all day long I am a believer, but not truly belimy heart. (Simon the sorcerer ?).
Or
Deny Jesus like Peter, but need to repent of what came out of my mouth (and I realize Peter had not yet received the Holy Spirit).

I do not want to pick apart every statement made by myself or others.

Messianic Judaism congregations
Statement of purpose:
footsteps, worshiping the one True G-d in His Spirit, Way, Truth, and Life*

We believe:

  • First and foremost that Yeshua is the promised Messiah to Israel and to the nations.
  • Messianic Judaism is a sect of Judaism that is the fulfillment of the Jewish Scriptures.
  • The books of the Bible (Genesis to Revelation) are ordained by G-d to be His word to us.
  • Messianic Jews and Messianic Gentiles believe the Torah of Moses is the same that Yeshua kept, elucidated, and taught.
  • Yeshua instructed us to ‘Follow Me’, therefore we leave it to each individual to practice Torah (halacha) in a way that he/she believes Yeshua did.
  • Messianic Jews and Messianic Gentiles are equal in Messiah on this forum and are permitted to observe Torah without condemnation.
  • MJs and MGs keep Torah for the love of G-d and to practice sanctified living, not for salvation.

The Torah given Moshe has two great commands about love.
And Yeshua further elucidated to love one another as he had Loved.

Deuteronomy
[ I call heaven and earth to record this day against you that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live,]

And who is the Life,.....?

Three sheets of love like three heavens.

Blessings Always

Heretical to who? Those who practice an incomplete faith? Frankly, they do need to change their religion if they expect to enter into eternal life. That is scriptural, as well. John 15:5 states it best: 5 I ( Jesus Christ) am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. That means all of us.

As far as current- day Jews being the Chosen People, you would do well to hearken to Revelation 3:9 : Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie—behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and they will learn that I have loved you.

The Christian Faith is the one, true and eternal Faith, given to us by the Holy Spirit. The Christian Church is the Ark within which everybody must shelter if they seek salvation: 4There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— 5one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. 7But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift. ( Ephesians 4: 4-7).

Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. The Christian Church is the living Body of Christ on Earth, to which we have all been called.
Heretical To Those whom worship The Word as being Holy.

Have you any understanding in the spirit concerning a shemitah yr?

The non-Jews call it a sabbatical.

The 7th yf of release is according to Torah while the 8th yr is according to grace and circumcision.

Blessings Always

Matthew 23:23 kjv
23. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

The abstract (non physical aspects of the law) do not require total translation from one level to another level of context. You may need to find just examples. You are correct in getting away from the physical into: love, joy, peace, patience, understanding, thanksgiving etc. maybe I did not mention too many NT words. Matthew chapters 5,6,7 do not use crops, animals, coins to teach, but mourn, poor in spirit etc.

You got it. This is about using using the law lawfully. If the law is about a physical thing, look for how Jesus cast a shadow about an item and became the reality. Jesus is the first fruit of those raised from the dead (as an example).

Now here I will make a comment of caution. The Pentateuch is the Word of God. The side notes in the Torah may make the jump to Messiah or not. Side notes in Jewish / Hebrew Torah and gentile study bibles can be 100% correct or dead wrong. The discernment to tell the difference is probably a gift from God. My comments are like an oral tradition. Weigh my words to see if they are correct. Check the scriptures and not side notes describing the scriptures.

You have come alive with information about scripture.

Jesus points out why they lack faith when something is occurring and do you know what happens next?
Luke. 17:5 kjv
5. And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
6. And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

This is not the only place faith is mentioned.

next
I Corinthians 12:9 kjv
9. To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

After Pentecost the apostles seem to have faith as a gift.

I love the way Jesus prepares the disciples for receiving the Holy Spirit.

john 20:21 kjv
21. Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
22. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
So
Acts 1.4 will tell them to wait to receive power.
Then
Acts 2:1 kjv
1.And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

The now apostles can look back to being breathed on, and recognize the being breathed on as the mighty rushing wind of Pentecost.

Exactly. The Law is given to convict and makes way for faith in the Gospel to be received.

The law and prophets convict of sin and describe and prophetically predict those things pertaining to the messiah / Jesus.

Jesus became the first fruit offering.
Jesus became / fulfilled the sacrifice Lamb
Jesus I suppose is the shew bread (?)

Luke 4:17 kjv
17. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
18. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
The veil of Jewish law thinking can be lifted.

Leviticus 8:23kjv
23. And he slew it; and Moses took of the blood of it, and put it upon the tip of Aaron's right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot.

pretty sure that it is for us today also. The blood of Jesus.

That we hear
That we do
That we go

so church leaders might
Have good and highest thoughts
Might do things for life and godliness
Might go spread good news in all areas

The law used lawfully is taken to higher abstract understanding. The concrete understanding of the law worked till John and Jesus came, but the kingdom levels of understanding are revealed to Jew and Gentile alike. As one new man we are joined.

I agree!

One other thing is that when a branch gets grafted in, there are no longer two plants but one. Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

Cool thing about grafting: when you graft an orange tree branch into an apple tree, it still produces oranges.

Do you have proof of that? I read that they are incompatible.

I guess I want you to take me through some of the ceremonial law and it’s relevance to accepting Jesus as our savior and Lord.
I think this is a non stressful and relaxed normal type question.
You can describe actions and recognized outcome we cherish as Christians.
This is not a trick question. Maybe you have already done it and I just missed it. Or maybe you think it was just for Jewish persons to meditate on.
Thanks ahead of time

The invitation is open to Jew and gentile alike to explain the use of ceremonial law as it relates to our Christian faith. One new man with two different changes? Changes that make you want to develop a relationship with the other branches.
What you were to what you are now by looking into the ceremonial law.

Romans 11:17 kjv
17.And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

Do not the branches brush against each other? Is there not harmony in understanding the grace that now exists. Can not words express what has happened.

One thing that I find to be really fascinating is that God chose to reach the Gentiles through a Bible translation that the Jews had made.
