    USA Massive winter storm expected

It's relatively rare for us to have as much snow as we did. Today it was about 68 degrees and much of the snow melted. I can think of only one other time in the last 20 years when we have close to that much snow here

How do you discern the difference between God's timing and your own impatience?

Not very well usually. I'm too impatient

I drive a pick up. This is a fairly new vehicle for me. I am not impressed with its ability to handle the icy road.

    USA Massive winter storm expected

For some people like myself the secondary roads and roads in our neighborhood are never plowed. I've lived here 19 years and never once saw a snow plow. The primary highways and main roads get treatment before and after storms and was clear in about two days. It might be different in the...

    Time spent studying your Bible?

I do in depth studies of God's Word every few weeks and try to read it everyday. No, I don't think I am in it enough.

    Pass the Offering Plate?

From what I have seen many churches offer a variety of ways to give such as online or at a spot near entrance of sanctuary. I prefer online giving myself. I think it is more private that way. I have no idea what the percentages are. I know we are expecting some snow here this next weekend...

USA Why Trump wants to take Greenland

If I understand this correctly Denmark is a NATO ally and he's talking about invading one of their territories Greenland. Seems like to me it would not incredible damage to NATO if he did that.

Salvation not based on our merit

Okay, then how I am to understand it when the Bible uses the word predestination? Because it does such as in places like Ephesians 1:4-5; Romans 8:29

    Watered down weak sermons

Over the last few years, I have been to many churches and heard a lot of sermons. It seems like to me that most of the sermons aren't even as deep as a 3rd grade Sunday School lesson. It seems most pastors are good at giving their church members milk instead of solid food. It feels like such...

Salvation not based on our merit

I was recently trying to read the book by A.W. Pink called "The Sovereignty of God" and he talked about how salvation is based on God's choice which occurred before time began and is not based on anything we do. Favorite verses seem to be mainly focused on Romans 9. Several questions ran...
