    God Told Me

I don't think I would try to confront them. I would encourage the person to stay in God's word and pray about it.

    Nextdoor app

This is the first I have heard about the nextdoor app. I am a part of a facebook group for my neighborhood which seems to be mainly used to post about animals that are lost or found in the area or if a neighbor is selling something.

    Voting Diversity Above Ability?

I doubt it is unusual for a person to vote for someone because of the color of their skin or sex. People tend to do that if they think the person can relate to their experiences. Even as a therapist, I have seen people who are of another race who don't want a white therapist because they...

Health billing - is cost fair?

I think it is hard on both patients and doctors that insurance companies have so much say over medical care. I don't think the charges are fair, but I have also noticed that there almost always seems to be big adjustments on my bills when I get them. It may depend on if someone is used who is...

When you're a guest at an unbeliever's house

You tell her that in the past some of her comments have been hurtful and if she says those things while you are there then you will have to leave. You have to set strong boundaries with people like that and let them know what you will put up with and what you won't

Do Democrats fall in behind Kamala Harris?

I think it largely depends on what the poll numbers show. If Harris doesn't have a clear path to victory I could see someone else entering the race. From what I have heard if Harris and Biden are both out of the race then the funds go to the Democrat party, but I could be wrong

What is the process of Communion like in your church?

In most churches I have been in the pastor says a few words and then the deacons help distribute the elements to the congregation who remain sitting in their pews. We practice open communion, so anyone who feels led can participate. I did go to a disciples of Christ church a few times last...

    Ascension

The Resurrection stories in Matthew have Jesus telling the ladies who find the empty tomb that he will meet with them in Galilee. It appears he is very specific about wanting them to go there. Then later when the Ascension happens it appears to happen near or on the Mount of Olives. I was...

    Ascension

That's really not an answer though on why he told them to go to Galilee when he ascended on the Mount of Olives or near there

    Ascension

I'm a little confused. In Matthew when Jesus is resurrected he tells the disciples to go to Galilee and there he will meet with them Matthew 28:10 and it says they did so in Matthew 28:16. Matthew has Jesus giving his disciples the Great Commission in Galilee, but doesn't specifically mention...

    Biden's Big Boy Press Conference

I watched it for a few minutes just to see how he would do. He also called the leader of Ukraine Putin before he corrected himself at any earlier new conference the same day. I wasn't going to vote for him anyway, so it makes no real difference to me. It will be interesting to see what...

    Inside Out 2

Pixar has a new movie out called Inside Out 2 which is an animated movie about the emotions that one girl has and how they interact inside of her. I think the first movie was better than the second, but it was still pretty good. I noticed that anxiety played a big part in this movie and...

In the earliest years of my life my grandparents saw us often, but then we moved halfway across the country and we saw them only maybe once a year.
