Is sin a choice, or is it natural to?

In post 15, you wrote this: "The life and death it presents is not eternal life through faith in God. It is following the Law during their day to day life. See (18:5-13)." I quoted Ezekiel 18:5-13 and told you that I can't find such a claim in those verses. Then, in post 21, you say, "Of course...

Is sin a choice, or is it natural to?

“5 Suppose there is a righteous man who does what is just and right. 6 He does not eat at the mountain shrines or look to the idols of Israel. He does not defile his neighbor’s wife or have sexual relations with a woman during her period. 7 He does not oppress anyone, but returns...

Is sin a choice, or is it natural to?

Do you have any verses to back this up? Where in the Old Testament does God speak of an eternal punishment that is to come for those who don't believe that the Messiah will be a human sacrifice for their sins? Why would God use the word "salvation" without explaining to His chosen people that...

Is sin a choice, or is it natural to?

Yes, it is His justice, the justice that He Himself eloquently explained through the prophets. The soul who sins is the one who will die. The son will not share the guilt of the father, nor will the father share the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous man will be credited to...

Is sin a choice, or is it natural to?

Holy means "set apart", "like no other". I don't see the logical connection between "being set apart" and "not being good having consequences". Well, this is where we disagree on. I don't think even ultimate good should have the right to enforce existence upon those who don't want to exist...

Is sin a choice, or is it natural to?

Who is "Man"? I thought Adam sinned. Why is humanity treated as a monolith, as an entity formed of numerous individuals? Why is the system designed in such a way so that the actions of one creature impact other creatures against their will? Doesn't that seem like a flawed system to you? Be...

Trump Is Disqualified From 2024 Ballot

So, what happens if Trump (or any candidate, for that matter) wins the elections and some states refuse to recognize him as president?

Trump Is Disqualified From 2024 Ballot

It's pretty strange that states within a country can have different legislations. What does this mean for Trump? Do all states have to consider him eligible in order for him to be allowed to run his campaign?

Turkish MP says that Israel "will suffer the wrath of Allah" and then immediately has a heart attack

Sounds irrational to me. It's like having a type of chronic pain that can be treated via surgery. Yes, surgery is an unpleasant experience, but once the wound heals, your chronic pain is gone and you can enjoy a better quality of life. Why would you choose to postpone the surgery? Same thing...

Turkish MP says that Israel "will suffer the wrath of Allah" and then immediately has a heart attack

What do you think my question requires in order for it to be complete? What would Jesus have done once freed by Herod? Would He continue His ministry and be captured by the Romans again under the same accusations? Here's another question: what would have happened if Herod had witnessed Jesus'...

Turkish MP says that Israel "will suffer the wrath of Allah" and then immediately has a heart attack

Why? Didn't Jesus tell people that those who lose their lives for His sake will find it? The idea of underground churches is an oxymoron. If Jesus promises eternal life to those who are bold about their faith in Him, there should be no underground churches. They should boldly come out and...

Turkish MP says that Israel "will suffer the wrath of Allah" and then immediately has a heart attack

Even from a strictly secular perspective, historically speaking, the land belongs to the Jews. Here's a video that explains it in detail, and it's from 12 years ago:

Turkish MP says that Israel "will suffer the wrath of Allah" and then immediately has a heart attack

No one can be legally kicked off their land. If they're a threat to their neighbors, the neighbors can cut off any contact with them by building walls and water dams along the borders. Any human attempt to drive someone out of their land is morally wrong, regardless of what they do. It's called...

Turkish MP says that Israel "will suffer the wrath of Allah" and then immediately has a heart attack

Turkish lawmaker Hasan Bitmez collapses from a heart attack just seconds after saying Israel would "suffer the wrath of Allah." The 53-year old lawmaker collapsed after giving his speech in the General Assembly Hall in Ankara, the Capital of Turkey. "We can perhaps hide from our conscience but...
