    I'd like that too, but short of paying for a second internet connection that I really don't need I don't think there's any way I can get a landline back. The best option is a UPS to make sure the router doesn't go down if the power does.

    If the report said "there are no new concerns" that doesn't rule out the possibility of a longstanding concern. That said if he "continues to be fit for duty" perhaps he is fit to face the music in the case recently not pursued because he was an elderly man with poor recall?

    Speed repeats on Friday, then a gentle walk on Saturday, a power walk on Sunday, a gentle run yesterday and a recovery-pace run today. I had a couple of extra gentle walks thrown in as well, so I've racked up a few miles these last several days.

    It depends what's on the menu. If it's the sort of thing that comes in specific portions we'd usually bring out plates of food. If it's something more like a bit pot of something (stew, spag bol etc) we'd typically put the pot in the middle of the table and invite people to serve themselves.
