    How long does it take you to get to church?

    It takes me anywhere from 30-50 minutes to get to church. It actually takes about 35 minutes getting there and 45 minutes coming home. It's the closest LCMS church to my house.

    My husband and I went away to the beach for a few days and we're back home right now. Going to the beach in the fall is probably the best decision we could have done, perfect weather, less crowds and free parking!

    It's been a long time since we had to call 911, but my daughter couldn't breathe. It turned out she was having a panic attack and had never had one before. Now we know to look for the clawed hands and feet as a sign and I can talk her out of it. She didn't have too many after that first one...

    I got my first pair of glasses when I was 17 years old. The doctor explained to me that even though I could see most things clearly, if I looked up at the trees, I couldn't see the leaves as clearly as I could with a pair of glasses. He was right!

    Well, I just completed one of my goals and that was to sew roman shades for 3 of our upstairs bedrooms! That's 7 windows. They look awesome and I'm glad it's finally over.
