    I had my thyroid removed over 4 years ago and for the first 3 years I was taking 100 mcg of Levothyroxine a day. Now I'm taking a bit more... For the first week I take 112 mcg daily. For the next week I take 112 mcg for 6 days and then a half a pill on the 7th. I never took any thyroid...

    It's on the paper from the pharmacy. You also can't take an iron pill or eat a lot of high fiber foods because it prevents the absorption of the thyroid medicine. I take Levothyroxine.

    Sometimes it is and sometimes it's allergies. I've always had a sensitive tummy. It feels better now after I went back to bed and took a nap (which I rarely do!).
