When you're sad or ill do you wonder if God loves you?
Being ill can be a very miserable experience and it seems so unnecessary so why do Christians get ill? Surely being in Christ and being his body ought to confer some sort of immunity, right?
:)
I wish there was a vaccine for the common cold and for flu that would give immunity to those unwanted and inconvenient viral infections for life!
What do you wish?

MORNING
What the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh. Rom. 8:3

MORNING
In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin but he that refraineth his lips is wise. Prov. 10:19
My beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. James 1:19
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty: and he that...
Since the Lord was born of a women (Galatians 4:4) and that he is himself a man (Titus 2:5) and since he is descended from Adam (Luke 3:23-38) according to the holy scriptures it is clear that he is a man and received his ancestry through both his mother and his adopted father.

Our faith roots are not in what the rabbis teach today. Their religion is not the religion that Jehovah gave through Moses. They have their own religion, one that they invented with their "traditions of men" through which they make void the law of God.
I know that you're making an effort to explain why you think that the ten commandments embrace all that is commanded in the new commandment given by the Lord but I can't help but feel that you're looking at it from the wrong end - sort of like looking through binoculars at the big lens end...
But they are not a Christian church. They are an entirely different religion. Just like Islam is. Why go to either of them for lessons about Christianity?
Receiving holy communion in a Catholic Church is not exactly the communion I was referring to in my post. I was thinking of fellowship as Christian brethren rather than receiving the host and precious blood in the rite of holy communion during a mass. And why would you want to receive the host...
All the people that I know in my parish would say it that way or in a similar way. In fact many Catholics who I know are astonished when people from local protestant denominations (Baptist, Pentecostal, Church of Christ, and Seventh Day Adventist) express negative views of the Catholic Church...
The holy scriptures say that the Lord was born of a woman and made man. The holy scriptures also say that there is one mediator between man and God who is himself a man. Is that enough to meet your needs?
