God gave the feasts to Israel not to Christians under the new covenant.

No, it was the sacrifice of God the Son for the sake of his people. Not a passover according to the commandments of the old covenant. It is the new covenant's one and only sacrifice, and Christ is himself the faithful's passover. A new passover in which the sins of the faithful are forgiven.

It's all a pretence ... No one keeps the feasts of Jehovah today.

    Interesting pocket watches ... cheap

Yes, if they are antique and beautifully made then they will be expensive. I can't afford expensive pocket watches. My nephew who is a watchmaker tell me that unless one is willing to spend one thousand dollars or more mechanical movement watches are likely to be fairly low quality. And in the...

God gave the feasts to Israel not to Christians under the new covenant.

Pay close attention to the commandments of Jehovah concerning the feasts and you will know that without the shedding of a yearling male lamb's blood there can be no feast of passover.

But avoid adding toxic inflammable materials like old tyres to the flames because they will burn but they will give off fumes and smoke that will break up the fellowship around the fire. Asking, demanding, or commanding the faithful to keep the feasts of the old covenant when one knows that...

Justification: By OUR works or CHRIST'S works?

The impression is of divisions that arose and separated brothers and sisters one from another. The CCC puts it this way. Notice especially paragraph 818

Justification: By OUR works or CHRIST'S works?

The Catholic Church teaches that Protestants are brethren in Christ. Yes, I disagree with it because it is not what the Catholic Church teaches. As brethren, perhaps as separated brethren.

Justification: By OUR works or CHRIST'S works?

Chances are that you might be misunderstanding what the Catholic Church teaches. I read your posts rather carefully and several times you've expressed ideas about Catholic teaching that are incorrect. If you wrote what you think on those matters then you have not understood what the Church...
