    This is a simple Christmas cool/cold salad. Cook some kidney beans, some rice (basmati is best, but a well washed long grain will doo very well too), some chopped mushrooms, and some corn and some peas. Let them cool down, (you can cook the rice with Turmeric to make it yellow if you like)...

    Why are "we" not talking about a local celebration? If we want to know when/where a practise started then local celebrations matter. Your post is dismissing the facts to make a "point" that is irrelevant to the question of when/where 25-Dec first was celebrated by Christians as Christ's birthday.

    The news said that the weather forecasters are having a hard time because two tropical cyclones are brewing in the north of the state (about 2,500 Km away from me). They say that they have created unstable air masses that are messing everything up :P 17c now (06:55) heading for 35c.
