    Salvation

The definitions of words mentioned in your post has been gone over already in this thread and in the thread called Justification so going over it again is just repeating what is already in the thread. Let's stick with Salvation and discuss it while avoiding expanding the topic to cover every...

The 73 canonical books of Holy Scripture.

The one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church has a 73 book canon and had one 600 years ago, 700 years ago, 800 years ago, and so forth until we go back 1,700 years ago when the first canon lists were authorised by the Catholic Church. In 419 AD the council of Carthage produced a canon list of...

    Salvation

IN Australia is not not a "bad word" just a slightly rough uncultured word but that doesn't stop people using it.Yet this is a thread about salvation and dipping into pop songs from 1965 and mocking the faith of more than a thousand million people is probably not a good place to go. So let's...

    Brown people wrote the bible

The ones God thinks of when he chooses a prophet, a priest, a ruler, and the Saviour. How about you; what shades are you thinking about and what does God think of them?

    Christian values are liberal.

Christian values are liberal. What system of theology and what teacher of morals and what example of unadulterated goodness gives more "something for nothing" than Jesus Christ? Take the time to consider what he says. Matthew 11:28-30 "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will...

iBot Poll: What Are Americans (United States)Known For?

    Brown people wrote the bible

Brown people wrote the bible. Not yellow people or white people nor black people; brown ones. And Jesus was born a brown man. So why all the anti-brown people stuff that's going on in politics when our faith is founded on the goodness of brown, yellow, black, and white people whenever those...

A critique of smart phone interfaces and technology.

As a test I installed Necta launcher on my old phone, the one I have as a backup in case my current phone dies. Necta Launcher is a little bland but it looks like something that I can pass on to elderly people with some confidence that they can learn to use it without needing to be like "the...

You could save your contacts and other personal data - like photographs - and then do a "factory reset" to clear away any nasty battery draining apps and viruses.

    Trump sides with Putin

A more accurate and more truthful suggestion is to alter the thread's title from Trump sides with Putin to USA President states that the USA Justice department and USA intelligence agencies are less reliable than the word of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Or maybe try to stick to the...

    Trump sides with Putin

When a country has a lemon for head of state the only thing to do is pray for a lemon press, sugar, and water to make lemonade.

The 73 canonical books of Holy Scripture.

73 books are in fact in the canon of holy scripture. "puff the magic dragon" is not. It's a lovely song by Peter, Paul, and Mary - USA performers famous in the 1960s.

What a stupid thing to write. That was definitely uninspired and uninspiring rubbish.

    The "Vegan Burger Kerfuffle"

It is bland, like curds. It needs salt, spices, and savoury things. It is good with spicy chicken when it is fried with onions, chillies, and savoury sauce.

A critique of smart phone interfaces and technology.

Why do you need to "swipe right" to answer a phone call? Why not just have a green answer button and a red decline button? why do you need to swipe down to turn off? Why not just turn off after the power button is pressed for a while? Why not offer "sight impaired" and "dexterity impaired"...
