    Profaning the body and blood would only be done by someone without faith. Taking in an unworthy manner is someone who denies Real Presence. Jesus took the punishment for your sin so that when you die you receive eternal life. You might receive earthly consequences but that is not punishment...

    It all has to do with faith. Those who have faith receive forgiveness. Those who reject forgiveness or reject the Savior (rejecting faith) don't receive it.
