    Jesus was doing 2 things...he was quoting from Jeremiah 7:11 and by that he was prophesying about what was going to happen, the destruction of the Temple as it did before (Jeremiah).

    I did a mile walk, went and got some groceries for the week and then went to the park to walk over 2 miles in the heat. I stayed to the shady wooded areas as much as I could. Watching Catfish on TV right now.

    My zucchini plants. The bees didn't do their job properly to pollinate the flowers so now I need to keep an eye on the plants and do the deed myself if they can't get with it.

    That's not the same as talking about the Real Presence for the sake of Holy Communion. Jesus gave them the bread to eat and said it was His body. He gave them the wine to drink and said it was His blood. There was a purpose for communion...to eat and drink.

    I totally agree! I remember blushing at people kissing in movies when I was a little girl. I didn't need it to be discussed in schools, promoted in schools, etc.

    That isn't even my argument. This started off in my prayer thread where Lees asked God to punish someone. That's concerning. I have no qualms at all about men deciding to do something. But that's not even the conversation. This is about asking GOD to do something against men.

    Your initial post stated that you wanted GOD to choose to have those policemen lose their jobs. That's the point of this conversation. NOT what men will do in the justice system. So, let's get that cleared up asap. God is not punishing us because of Christ and praying to God to have men lose...
