    I keep autocorrect on my phone but it changes a lot of words without my noticing until I press Send and then my message makes no sense. Stupid phone.

    As Christians we are to love our neighbor. I doubt anyone would walk to the country and choose my house to ask for a meal, but if asked I'd provide for them, as well as go through my pantry and hand them things for future meals.

    We quit having a landline when we moved 8 years ago to the house we live in now. We use our cell phones and sometimes I don't get good service in some rooms, so I also have a Google Voice number for family to use when they really need to reach me.

    Having a web page with info on it is promoting that church. Having a Facebook page for that church is promotion. Streaming the service is actually a form of promotion also. More people used to go to church in years past than today. The younger people want to know what churches are doing beyond...

    I have owned my computer chair for 2 decades now! The black vinyl has rubbed off in spots and I use electrical tape (long strips) so that unless I point it out to people, they don't even realize it.

    I agree with all of that. But think about it, even back in the 70s churches put their listing in phone books and some even put ads on placemats in diners.

    For my church, I'm doing some really short videos of some of the things we do when we're not in church. We have a Community Garden, a women's group, we collect things for charities, etc...

    The absolute best is a chicken farfalle dish our friend's use to make at their Italian restaurant. As much as I've tried to replicate it, I just can't get it perfect enough.

    When I was 7 my best friend said her dad told her to do that and most of the time it does help. I don't know if it's a pressure related thing or what.
