    I'm hoping it cools down enough in the morning so I can get back to the park to walk. It's been too muggy and the mornings have had too much fog to safely walk around where I live. So I'm getting my steps in around the house and riding my bike in the basement (on a trainer).

    No, I don't wet my hands first because then the soap would glide off into the sink. I put it on dry and lather up (probably not the full 20 seconds I'm supposed to) and then rinse off thoroughly.

    Actually, I just asked a basic question that's been asked on numerous Christian forums to get conversations going. I even wrote in this thread that I don't bring my bible because they are in the pews at my church and available at bible studies. The readings are printed out in the bulletin...

    The only thing you said that is lacking is that Christians don't "carry" a paper book with them. I have the Bible on my Kindle, and I can tell you that I turn pages on that thing just like on my paper bibles. On an app you can scroll, bookmark, search, highlight, etc... There is even an app...

    Yes, they're real friends. I spend a lot of time with my online friends and some of us have known each other for a decade or more! We have a trust and bond that is just as valuable as in person relationships.

    Actually, it's a matter of convenience to have a bible on the phone so that they can carry the kid, the diaper bag and whatever else they need for the service. They know they won't leave a bible behind when it's on their phones.

    Maybe you aren't aware that there are bible apps for the phones that are truly the Bible. It's not Googling, it's actually reading the bible.
