Good morning! I have a meeting at church this morning and then maybe I'll convince my husband to go with me to the feed store to get our granddog's donut for Christmas. Doggy donuts are so fun!
What do you mean by "growth process"? I'm trying to see where you're attempting to lead this conversation.
The "Law" does not regenerate. 2 Corinthians 3:6
This is similar to what a previous pastor said when a parishioner said in a bible study class that he could see himself getting better and better as he got older. The pastor replied that the older he got, the more he could see how sinful he was.
There is no set answer. Some people fall away from faith and some are on their way to reject the faith. Lutherans don't believe in Once Saved Always Saved, and we believe it's biblical that mankind can reject God and turn away from faith.
There are most likely individuals who see constant...
The regenerated man pleases God because of Christ. We have our sins forgiven (by grace through faith because of Jesus Savior). When God looks at us, He sees His Son with whom He is pleased.

My husband's family always did pizza on Christmas Eve and then midnight mass. We don't go to midnight mass now, but we still do pizza on Christmas Eve.
Then on Christmas morning, church - depending on the weather, and gift opening then making bread pudding for breakfast, and homemade ravioli...
For young girls, lip gloss and nail polish is sometimes enjoyed. I've also gotten my daughter some cheap earrings to go in her stocking.
For boys, no idea.
Of course there is change, and that's the Holy Spirit's doing.
I believe that I cannot by my own reason or strength, believe in Jesus Christ, my Lord, or come to Him. But the Holy Spirit has called me by the Gospel, enlightened me with His gifts, sanctified me and kept me in the true faith.
I lost track of how many bibles we have, but it's more than 5. We received bibles when we were younger, and I still use mine from time to time. I have also bought a study bible with a concordance in back, and then I have bibles that are just the New Testament. I'm not sure why people make just...
The attention to architectural detail. Houses that are built today just look so sterile compared to the hominess you see in a house a hundred years old.
