    If paedobaptism were taught...

Does this mean you are out of things to say now and you've used up all that you wanted to add to the thread? I've posted what I wanted to say in the earlier pages of the thread. You reject what is posted. It's not like I wish to keep going over what's been said repeatedly with you. Do you have...

Baptizing in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

This makes the most sense as to why there is insistence on sticking to the triune formula. Thanks.

    Mass Shootings

As Christians we are told to Pray without ceasing. Thanks be to God that it wasn't any worse and may He continue to heal those who need healing according to His good will.

Genesis 1&2 The Beginning - Scriptural, Scientific and Historical Perspective.

I think for the reason stated above by our moderator that I'm going to move this thread to the World Religion & Speculative Theology.

    Is vBulletin a good software

I was so against Xenforo for a long time because it looked so sterile. It's evolved since then and I enjoy using it at other sites and lament that lack of user friendly tools here on vBulletin. Plus you have to remember there really isn't much support or new modifications for vbulletin!

Lord, teach us to pray (Luke 1)

Luke 1:1 One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” Prayer surely must have been known among the Hebrews/Jews so why do you think the disciples had to ask Jesus to teach them how...

Baptizing in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

Josiah, in other words there are those who believe that baptism is by God's grace and the other side is that there must be something within the person that makes them worthy to receive baptism. But that's not where I wanted this to go. I wanted to know why the side that believes man has to...

    If paedobaptism were taught...

If a man came to faith by reading the bible and then later on began to commit a lot of sins...we wouldn't say that the scriptures couldn't have given him faith because look at him, he's sinning. Now if this man is told that he's sinning and he repents we admit that God's word gave him faith...

    Is vBulletin a good software

Have you used Xenforo before? I ask because if I had the opportunity to buy a vBulletin or Xenforo license I'd go for Xenfor. VBulletin has some issues and isn't always intuitive when using the Admin panel. For permissions it's a nightmare!!

Baptizing in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

So what about Acts 2 where the command isn't trinitarian and says, "repent and be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission (or forgiveness) of sins" ? Why do you insist on the trinity when elsewhere it says to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ in the scriptures if it's...

    If paedobaptism were taught...

Well the water doesn't have any special powers. Jesus didn't have to use mud to give a blind man sight now did He? But He chose that earthly means to bring about an action. God does that numerous times throughout scripture and to ignore it ignores how God operates.

Baptizing in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

Threads get closed because they turn into flamefests. We don't close because of doctrine (as long as they're Christian doctrines....other ones will be moved to World Theology). The biggest threat to our site has always been the flaming that members shoot at each other.

    Lämmchen's Workout Thread

You're really moving along, tango! I find that my feet ache after doing 10,000 steps and if I go over 15,000 steps then my knees will hurt for a day. I have to supplement with extra magnesium to take away the inflammation but all that probably has to do with my Hashimoto's. I would love to go to...

Best TV shows so far 2019
