    You might want to rethink that claim about churches not wanting to embrace the Hebrew/Jewish roots of Jesus. In fact it is actually taught a great deal and in my Bethel Bible course I took which was very intensive, we were first taught, "Think Hebrew".

    It depends on the lectionary. Add that to the verses already used in the liturgy, the verses that the priest/pastor uses in the homily/sermon, verses used in the hymns and wow, that's a LOT OF GOD speaking to us and teaching us!

    Overgeneralizations stated is not proof, nor is it biblical back up. A member has every right to demand that OPINIONS in these theological forums be backed up by scripture and not just how they feel or think.

    Those churches teach the entire bible in their readings throughout a specific span, some go through 3 years. There is your proof.

    Alithis, those are a lot of false accusations. I bet you actually believe all that. On Sunday God uses His Word to teach His people. In that I trust. His Word. Not man's interpretation to lead to self but instead to the Savior who died for our sins and we are forgiven.
