    I grew up in the Midwest, too, and the only time I heard about it was in school lessons and tv. They are racist exonified! There were a lot of racists where I grew up, too, at least in the manner they spoke of various ethnicities.

    It's the same temperature here jsimms. It's overcast and gloomy too. I put the lights on in the living room for extra light. I think I need one of those broad spectrum lights.

    Good evening Krissy and everybody. Watching HGTV. Trying to figure out what's wrong with my arm. It hurts and has some bumps in it. I see the doctor in about 2 wks. so I'll tell him about it if it still hurts then.

    I never have any plans mainly because I'm too broke to do much else than be at home. I occupy myself well though with support groups, cleaning, caring for my pet family, and running out at times for things I need like groceries, etc. :)

    Well, it's late afternoon...almost evening...got my CT Scan done and it went very fast, only a few minutes, tech was very nice, nice people all of them there. Should get results on Mon. I hope you all have a nice weekend!

    I hope he comes up with something that will help with the pain. I had to stop physical therapy years ago because of pain. Instead I got steroid block in my back several times and it helped immensely.

    Hopefully the neighbors move will be helpful..if they do indeed move. I see the managers are preparing a ground floor or close to it apt. in the next building. Woman upstairs cannot manage on the steps anymore due to arthritis. I hope moving helps her. I don't feel mad at them any more and...
