    Jesus Christ, died for all

As an aside - MennoSota and Arsenios - one of you guys is going to HAVE to change your avatar so I know who's posting! :D

    Jesus Christ, died for all

Not picking on you specifically atpollard, just a general observation. When it's said that way, it somehow doesn't raise any hackles. When it's stated as "SUFFICIENT for all, EFFECTIVE for those granted faith", that's somehow treated as universalism by some posters or an affirmation of limited...

    Jesus Christ, died for all

Honest question, no agenda. In the grand scheme of 'Limited Atonement' - let's pick a passage, say John 10:27 - isn't it reasonable to conclude that those for whom Jesus' shed blood was not effectual - his atoning sacrifice was not for them, not being one of his sheep - await the same fate? How...

    Jesus Christ, died for all

Even though this was meant for Josiah I am utterly astounded by the petulant nature of these posts when all ability to reason fails

    Jesus Christ, died for all

And this has been the issue all along. Your namesake began this erroneous and tragic path, leading millions into error. However, you will not seek to examine the error (also following the tradition of your namesake) as he was equally conceited in his pride

    Jesus Christ, died for all

I think what's truly "limited" here is understanding perpetuated by an unwillingness to see beyond our own face in a mirror. As long as we are comfortable with our own face (i.e. understanding), why rock the boat by examining the fact that we might actually look a bit haggard?

    Jesus Christ, died for all

You can read it for yourself. It's a few pages back, but by your standard I'll be forever a Universalist until I admit that God atoned for only a few. If that's what you'd like I can just say it and everyone will be happy. Will that satisfy you?

    Jesus Christ, died for all

Anyone who can read and has a reasonable I.Q. can read and understand what I said. It's not Yiddish, it's English

    Jesus Christ, died for all

No. And I clearly said that. Mostly. As I suspected: Now we can add "if in fact you deny that Jesus atoning sacrifice fails to make those for whom he died completely holy and perfect" Soooooo.... You keep just keep right on misrepresenting and we'll keep refuting your... well, I can't say...

    You're recycling wrong!

It's getting simpler to figure out - I'm still a little behind the times, though. Sometimes if I'm lazy I'll still throw recyclables in the trash. It gets taken and I've never had it refused (yet). My big thing here is bottle return. Each bottle has a different tax/deposit assigned - so a...
