I'm gathering the data and laying the foundation of a video I may or may not make soon.

Not too much today.

A bit of piano.

Some art - drawing and sketching (using computer tools)

Planting - one of my turnips I noticed has sprouted. It was fairly large so I cut it into quarters leaving a section of root for each one - and planted them. I also did a bit of weeding and planted some more spuds.

A few chores, washing dishes and clothes.

going to the office in a few minutes to turn in time sheet and mileage. My morning meetings were rescheduled for Wednesday because someone else is sick and can't make it.

the office is about an hour drive from home and then all of my clients are in that county or nearby.
i actually like being out in the community more than stuck in an office. I like having a flexible schedule like I do now.

Restful morning today. Finally managed to remove some built in shelving without destroying it. I had to cut a few inches from the top so I could get it out, which was an exercise in ingenuity.

Too bad it's not a company car? Wear and tear...do you get money for that on your vehicle?

We get reinbursed for mileage about 42 cents a mile I think it is. That is after you get to the office. They are talking about having one company car for two teams, so whoever drives it it won't be an everyday thing. They are talking about it, but we haven't gotten one yet.

Well I was recently in a debate with a youtuber over the flat earth subject, and one of the proofs he mentioned was QF27 - or QFA27 - Santiago,Chile, to Sydney, Australia (and vice versa) taking too short a time (12hours or so) for the FE map to be correct.

Now I've heard this before and I've heard different arguments. From flat earther's - that the map most commonly used may not be 100% perfect - but far better than the maps we have for the globe. That seems a little weak, to me. I've heard that there are people who have taken the flight who find their compasses pointing the wrong direction at the tail end of it. And then excuses for that.

Not sure what to think of any of this. So I went to FlightRadar and had a look:

(Sydney to Santiago)
https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/qf27/#d97c7ab

Now, what's interesting to me, first off, is the flight path itself. Why waste soooo much fuel heading SE from Australia then NE to make a huge "U" ? It seems to me the shortest route saving the most time and the most fuel is simply due East from Sydney. Why the all the waste? Can't argue it's to "pick up more people" - as there are not stops on the route shown.

The second thing I found interesting about this flight is that outside of a little bit out of Sydney, and approaching Auckland - there is 0 flight radar for it - you can watch previous flights and the plane skips over the greatest length of the flight - the dotted line.

This second thing brings to mind something else. Someone's going to object and say that radar can't travel over that distance - to which I have to ask - why is it curving over such a great distance to begin with? Now even if it went in a straight line - due East, and if radar couldn't track it then due to distance...

Then why not one of the thousands of supposed satellites that are hovering above the earth.

The whole flight smells fishy to me.

Some really creepy stuff worked itself into my brain today - a mixture of images and music - too interesting not to write down and make into a clip of some sort.

Talked to a relative at length on the phone for a sizeable portion of the day.

Played Bach. I'm adding a little bit to one of his inventions (extending it), it's been fun.

Finished a 32 measure extension to Bach's 2 part invention in F major (BWV 779) and I'm quite pleased with it. I wonder if Bach purists would accept it or if the mere thought of adding to Bach would be considered Baroque-ian sacrilege :/

lol

watching a youtube video from clearly confused person. That, or someone paid to give us a bad name. In the space of 1 video, he identified as a flat-earther, then displayed hatred for "da Jews" (apparently anyone who is Jewish, not just Babylonian Talmud/Kabbalah followers/adherents), said "all females are stupid" (lol), described nearly everyone he worked with as homosexual, then went on a rant about black people, using the "N" word for them, then threatened to kick another FE'rs butt...lol

Dude. lol. You are over the top - I find it hard to believe you can actually fit into nearly every single publicly frowned upon social paradigm. Unless that was intentional.
