Best Mother's Day gifts?

I know Britain already had their Mother's Day but the US has their's coming up next month.

What are some of the best Mother's Day gifts? My mom said she wants a gift card.

Since my mum is dead I give her prayer and rely on God's goodness, mercy, and grace to bring her benefit from every prayer said on her behalf.

A phone call does wonders to life a mother's spirit and now I do video calling after my grandchildren set it up on my phone so it is like being in the room with them and feeling their love.

That reminds me of a gift I once made for my mom. It was some clown doll thing made out of fabric circles! I'm sure it was hideous LOL

I had my mum living with us for 23 years before she died 10 years ago, and before that I called her everyday or go see her at weekends to .. Our daughter lives with us and when mum's day come round she said what did I want, and I said only for her to be happy as much as she could for the rest of her life . I don't need presents from her as I now she loves me since she tells me every night before bed.. .. she's my best friend as I love her so much ... sometimes its not what you get but what you say that's means more than any present you can give...so I get Mother's day everyday...

You're like me. I told my daughter once I want her to be healthy and happy and that's the best gift. She had some health issues at the time but is so much better now! Maybe though if she returned my texts more often... LOL Her phone dies a lot and then she forgets to reply.

I'm having a hard time imaging me as a mom.....

MY mom always said she wanted US around her..... being nice to her and each other, lol. Now that we've all left the nest.... and two of us have TWO moms now.... that's harder than it was. She's never wanted any gift, but of course I always get her a card and lately I've included a gift card to my mom's fave restaurant or one she's not tried but I think will really like.

My wife handles the Mother-in-Law...... generally, when we give gifts I try to not look surprised when they open the gift because I have nothing to do with it. Just one of the countless perks of having a wife....

All of my children were home last weekend. That was my mothers day gift. So the actual day will just be another worship day. And that is all good.

if my boys will be too lazy and let their wives do that stuff I'm gonna beat em up, well, unless the present is better and more expensive.
My former mother in law was perfect. She said it's all nonsense and they invented it cause they want to make money, so she never wanted anything.
Oh my dad was bad. My mom would get flowers from her work and he bought her too but then she had 2 and to save money he gave one to his mother hahahahahahaha.

I usually make my grandma a Mothers day card..she doesnt ask for much. I love her lots so I give her a hug too and say I love you...

My mom would best like a visit from me, but it's not been possible to get there for awhile now. She only lives 50 miles away but it takes 4 hrs each way on the bus because the routes there are just weird. The only reason I would want a vehicle again is to go there. I phone her often but it's not the same.
