My husband is like that too...not involved in the gift picking out really!! Does your wife give you choices though?

MOSTLY, I'm "out of the loop" when it comes to gifts (although she asks for suggestions when it comes to my family)....

I don't like to shop. My wife doing that is just one of MANY perks of being married....

When I was a teen, I would get up..... open one drawer and take out a t-shirt, open another drawer and take out some shorts (both perhaps before the lights were turned on) and that's what I took into the bathroom to put on after my shower. This bothered my older sister who insisted I "cleaned up" nice. So, I had her shop for me (she threw away a goodly percentage of my clothes). I loved it. I appreciated it. And I'm sure I looked better. She also changed out my soap, shampoo, etc. to better stuff.... Today, I shop for MY stuff but with my wife as my "consultant." That's the only shopping I do.

SO many things I like about marriage....

I got my mom a gift card but I hate mailing them inside regular cards. People tend to steal them and I'm not sure if it's the postal workers or what. Do you think putting them in a bubble mailer will be safer? It won't be as obvious that there is a gift card inside.
