Australia has its share of crazies - less than the USA as a percentage of the population but we have them here too - and Australia has had its share of bombs and killings done by people thinking they are Allah's trusty little servants doing his will and all that religious stuff. We haven't had many Christian crazies like the Oklahoma City bomber or Waco or Jones Town but we do have some crazy Plymouth Brethren religious nutters and a few Buddhist and Hindu nutters too. I guess most Western nations have a collection of religious nutters but it seems like the USA always has more and that the ones in the USA are more violent. So your claim that I'd need to live in the Netherlands for the past 8 years to understand the situation there is likely to be untrue. The Netherlands is not likely to be uniquely crazy with Muslims and Christians and stuff. It's just crazy in a Dutch sort of way while Australia is crazy in an Australian sort of way. The USA is uniquely crazy for a western nation - middle eastern nations are in a league of their own for craziness that no others can even approach for its intensity though some countries in Africa are very close for craziness. I guess it takes a failed government or a royal dictatorship to be as loony as they are in the middle east. But this thread is mainly about Donald Trump's characterisation of the USA media as the enemy of the USA people. Not about crazy terrorists in the Netherlands or Australia. The USA is in for "interesting times" I reckon. I am glad to live a long long way away from them.
The 'Here' I've been referring to is the United States of America, not The Netherlands.
Also, it's not crazies or even terrorists I was referring to either, but the fundamental destruction of America the leftists like Obama, Hilary, and their minions and collaborators had us on course for, being pro-abortion, pro-illegals, and on and on, being basically anti-christian in their policies.
Their decay and deception runs deep, and as I said before, may even be beyond repair ... It's certainly going to be difficult, and many have given up hope ... exactly what the enemy would want.
But the American ppl felt that the only chance, slim as it might be, to try to right the ship was someone Outside the Washington political machine who showed some yahtzas during the campaign, namely Donald Trump. So we nominated him in all-time record numbers in a primary, and elected him President. We'll see what happens, but with the alternative, things wouldn't just be hard, they'd have been impossible. You just can't believe the evil running through the lefts agenda.
I thank God for prayers answered, but it's just the beginning, more prayer and hard work will be needed, and it still may only be a temporary reprieve.
It won't change the final outcome, both glorious and devastating yet awesome, but a glimmer of hope is better than none, and faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains.
The main goal for christians should be to glorify the name of Jesus and help people be saved, and the path of self-destruction America was on wasn't good for that, or for much of anybody else but an elite few, either. And not even for them, ultimately, in the big picture.
Now's really the time to pull together to work FOR Jesus' Kingdom, and against a common demonic enemy. Many feel the Lord's return is near, (of course, IT IS), and much good can be done, He is with us and He already has the victory, but things really have become a mess here, and we desperately need our Saviour, and His love, and brotherly love, to see us through. Peace.
