I don't think I ever had sweet potatoes. They're always salt and I throw mayonaise on it, when they're baked, cooked with fake gravy from a package without butter.

I had yams this Thanksgiving. They were yummy with sour cream!

I love having brown sugar with my sweet potatoes! It's so easy to bake them even though they take a long time. I have tried them in the microwave baked with skin on but it isn't the same as in a real oven.

Tonight I decided to cook some fish with rice, spices, vegetables, coconut, and turmeric. The fish is basa. The rice is basmati. he spices are mainly north African - cumin, coriander seeds, cayenne, garlic, ginger, white pepper. I am hoping it will do great things

Too early. Christmas season has not started yet. Wait until advent is over

We always put up our tree (with the exception of 2 years of our marriage) the first weekend in December. I find it to be just enough time to enjoy the tree without it getting too dusty by the time I take it down. I do so before most people though since I want my house cleaned by the time January rolls around. After the New Year I'm ready to be done with it and pack it all away.
