Much better is LibreOffice. It's a full-featured office suite, compatible with MS Office, and completely free. It has a lot more features than Google Docs, though I will say this for Google Docs: you can have multiple people editing the same file at the same time with Google Docs, which is a unique feature.

Yes, it is good but it is big too and may use up more disk space than is wise for a Lenovo 100s

I think that the lenovo 100s is a windows 10 laptop rather than a chrome book.

No idea, you should use programs from internet. It has Windows 10 and an app store.
All this modern technology. My son is happy with it, that's the most important thing and it was not so expensive. Last one I bought for him was a second hand laptop for the same price last year or so. Within 2 months the cable didn't function anymore. 60 euro or more, I'll buy that later. 2 cute brothers thought: hey this thing no work, we ruin it, so all the letter things are ruined from that one. They may not use this one.
