It seems to be so.

It may be a rule of the universe :p

It's because I can't cook.

Apples are good for you and don't taste all that bad :D

I love spinach and it's good for me.

I don't really like brussel sprouts though.

I am sure apples are bad according to somebody. Probably because they are sweet :p

People who say this generally can't cook, don't know how to use spices to add variety to healthy food and are lifelong slaves to food marketing.

Which is why I'm surprised you said it, since you appear to have relatively healthy eating habits.

Nah. I just had "fries" that were not fried in any sense - boiled potato chips to which I partially dried then added olive oil after with pizza sauce. Nothing naughty. All good for me.

The other day I had frozen banana to which I added honey and cocoa powder. Nothing naughty there either.

Earlier today I had tomato juice to which I added a little sea salt and pepper. Again, nothing naughty.

So whatchu talking about? You saying these are not tasty? Hmm?

Beer, on the other hand is not "super tasty" by any stretch of that phrase, lol...but it is naughty because of the alcohol content.

Hmm. I don't use my microwave at all. I remember reading a convincing set of articles years ago not to, but I honestly can't remember the details of them now. I'm doing fine without it.

But I do have an idea that I want to try now. Perhaps I'll microwave some lentils in water. Not enough to cook, just for a short time. Then I will soak them and then lay them out to sprout. If they don't, that will be enough for me.

Naughty Free, Strav! :D Except for the beer. Actually beer lowers blood pressure!

I had some cooked vegetables with spices & seasoning ... tasty as always, and filling. So much so I had a nap not too long after.

Is that bad for you?

It must be :p

Not strictly true.

Chocolate comes from beans and beans are vegetables, therefore chocolate must be good for you.

*chuckles* great deductive reasoning :p

I suspect that the beans (roasted) would taste really bad but for the sugar used in chocolate bars :;;D:

Not necessarily so. Have you ever tasted really dark chocolate? When you're running at 70% cocoa solids you've got space to hide and kludge if the cocoa isn't just right. At 90% it's harder to hide. At 100% there is nowhere to hide. The chocolate is a lot darker and obviously not as sweet as the regular milk chocolate that's maybe 40% cocoa, 30% milk and 30% who-knows-what, but if you let a piece of that melt on your tongue it's quite an experience.

I have tasted pure cocoa and it is very bitter - quite horrible in fact.

Every chocolate lover wants to believe that cocoa is good for you especially when sweetened and in the form of a yummy chocolate bar :p

That dark cacao isn't tasty lol, yeah everything that's good for you doesn't taste good, unless you mix it with sugar and fat.
I used to hate sauerkraut, until a girl had a new recepy. She mixed it with a lot of cheese and sweetened fruits and mashed potatoes, so you didn't taste the sauerkraut anymore, tasted really good.
