I'm on the western edge of the dreaded "cone of uncertainty:"

The path has shifted to the west a bit since yesterday...which I didn't want to see. :scared:

Your image is broken. :(

Prayers that the storm does not affect you.

I hot-linked to another forum on which I attached the image because the thumbnailed attachment here was too small to see well, even when clicking to expand it. :(

I guess it only works for me because I am logged in there. This should work:

In my prayers.....

EVERYONE lives where some kind of natural problem comes...... where I live, it's mostly wildfires and earthquakes. Both can happen anywhere in the USA but they are the things mainly on our "worried about" list. There was a hurricane here in 1938 but that was a bit before my time.... we were at the every edge of one a few years ago but it only produced generous (and much, much needed) rain. May God preserve and protect us....

Watching the news and thinking of you and yours, Mark.

And the latest looks even worse:

This could be the worst hurricane effects I've ever seen here in 30+ years here in this area. We may be without power for weeks, etc. I'm actually worried, and I don't worry easily.

Yeah, I have a generator, but I can't run my PC on it because the power level would fluctuate too much.

The image I posted above has been auto-updated and they've moved the path even closer to me.

I've made the decision to evacuate tomorrow (at my mother's insistence), and so it might be possible I won't be online for up to several weeks because of power issues. :(
