I already posted that the Didache gave the trinitarian formula for baptism...in post #6

The Didache, written 50-90 AD states this: 1. Concerning baptism, baptise thus: Having first rehearsed all these things, "baptise, in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost," in running water;

This states that there was a known baptismal trinitarian formula being used prior Nicea or any other possible Pope insertion. The Apostle Peter was still considered "Pope" by the current Catholic church until the year 67. So, trinitarian baptisms were not invented by the Roman Catholic church...it is completely biblical.

You need to take your RCC to the Speculative theology because it has no rights to anything but world religion. Insult for insult.

Stop. The Roman Catholic church is considered Christian on this site. They should be treated as brothers and sisters in Christ.

psalms 91, the Nicene creed is part of what defines christianity in CH. rejecting the holy Trinity as visionary appears to do and rejecting the last two verses of the gospel according to saint Matthew is sound reason for asking that such ideas and the posts that contain them be moved to the World Religion & Speculative Theology forum.

You're welcome to post views that are outside the orthodoxy defined in the Nicene creed in the World religion forum. Nobody is casting out.

Staff Notice:

Please get back on topic. Staff is currently discussing things concerning non-trinitarian members here but for now it should not be argued here on the site. I would also appreciate it if people would not jump to conclusions based on what they think I said. Back to the topic now.

I hope that is not the decision of the forum administrators.
