I got done shifting a load of boxes around (got three large boxes delivered a couple of days back and another one yesterday that I didn't expect until next week). So now the three boxes are stored and they're out of my face, the one is unpacked and in use, and I spent a couple of hours reassembling a clock I'm fixing.

Trying to keep busy. It's terrifyingly easy to realise you just spent the entire afternoon doing nothing more useful than endlessly refreshing assorted forums and faceache.

Just made a public comment on a rather famous singer's new video. I expect I'll get shot down by hordes of her worshipers for offering a balanced and (somewhat critical) viewpoint.

Oh well.

I hate the whole mindset of "having a side" - one is either a "hater" or a "lover" and no opinion can be expressed that doesn't fit into some form of thumbs up or thumbs down. I also hate when gross dishonesty is supposed to be overlooked for fear of being painted into either of those labels. You have an honest criticism? You must be hater. Haters be gone. If you aren't going to be a mindless hero worshiper like me, go away. Ugh.
