The strong in faith are those who God can trust to leave alone at their post and not fall asleep on the job. For the Protestant I think that's much easier to do than a life of constant artificial stimulation.

The Word is in each of the Lutheran sacraments, Baptism & the Lord's Supper. I'm not sure why anyone would not want either as the Spirit guides us and strengthens us.

I partake of the Lords Supper and go to church a lot, three times a week plus activities and yes, I love them but could I get by without them, yes.

YES, one can be a Christian and be heaven bound without any Sacraments. Example: Thief on the Cross.

But the question is absurd. A bit like, "Can you be technically married and never kiss?"

Oh, well I just never heard they were called sacraments. That language is never used.

That's okay messy. "sacrament" is derived from Latin so Catholics use the word but people in other Christian faith traditions might use other words like "ordinances" or "mysteries" and so forth.

God gives us the sacraments to strengthen us and those who don't believe in sacraments don't really believe God can do such things so they poo poo it all they can and call God a liar even without saying so specifically. I know they don't want to believe God can work through means but we see so many examples in the old testament that get ignored and past aside.

I don't think that sacraments relate to calling God a liar. The Passover Seder while steeped in tradition, rituals, much like sacraments, does not proclaim any kind of powers God works through. In fact, I see nowhere does God invoke powers to those who participate.

Baptism, laying on of hands, anointing the sick with oil, communion is quite powerful. Because they didn't discern the Body they died and were sick said Paul and the elders will pray and anoint him with oil and he shall recover. That's God's power working. Torben Sondergaard baptizes all these people and they get set free from demonic stuff. Baptism is more powerful than they always said.

People got healed by taking communion and Paul said they died.
When I didn't believe in God we once went to a church with a group of unbelievers. They had communion. Really. Think about your guests. Girl next to me said hey tasty! Glad a Jewish friend next to me who then didn't believe warned me not to take it. That's not just bread, it means a whole lot to them, she said.

If you reject God's Word in communion then you don't receive God's promises in it...it's just bread and juice (wine) for you.
