Remember that we fight against principalities and powers, spiritual wickedness in high places, this is talking spiritual not in the physical. We must discern good spirits from bad in order to fight them with prayer and fasting

Physical can be good. He saw that it was good. Spiritual can be bad, occultism, the devil is a spirit being.

I don't think that text was about demons.
Not everything spiritual and physical is good anymore. There is some plant root from an African religion, if they eat it they come in direct contact with satan.
