It seems likely to me that with the proliferation of threads written by people who are not Catholics about the Catholic Church and it's alleged wickedness Christianity Haven will soon develop a reputation as safe haven for anti-catholic sentiment.

Oh I read half of the title. I thought it was: watch out with slander. It's sin and not all of a sudden good if it's the pope or a church. There are so many outright lies about the pope on internet, just like about WOF preachers.

the verses have nothing to do with pointing out the obvious lies of ANY denominations teachings .
your trying to play it off politically to discourage people from doing it .. what next , have them arrested and put to death for opposing the rcc.. ? ouh wait you've been there done that -didn't work then either and it won't work when you start doing ti again.. and rome will definitely start doing that again as soon as it can .

The passages speak of what motivates one's speaking. The same things will motivate one's writing.

I am attempting to discourage ignorant anti-Catholic commentary. The threads that have recently been started by non-Catholics offering opinions about Catholic practises and beliefs are inaccurate.

But when people continually attack the catholic church even I want to defend them and I'm not even catholic. If evangelicals bash the Dutch reformed church I come up for them, although it's not really my type of church. Visited twice. Fell asleep. My so boring.

I haven't participated in the recent anti-catholic threads. They appear to be created for other people. I do not want to give them credence because they are full of inaccuracies and errors. I believe that they are likely to harm the reputation of Christianity Haven.

No more than making this board appear to be catholic which at least one poster had the mistaken idea of. As I said if it is posted then I will continue to disagree with what is not right and agree with those who know the same things I do. I haven't participated in the recent anti-catholic threads. They appear to be created for other people. I do not want to give them credence because they are full of inaccuracies and errors. I believe that they are likely to harm the reputation of Christianity Haven.

That's best to do with any type of thread. If you don't like what they're stating and it's not flaming you personally then don't respond. Threads like that eventually die out.

But alas for every subject for discussion, the lies are brought forth as truth from the infallible god of earth sitting on the Vatican throne... are presented in the thread by the gulllable. If we leave them untouched, then it is assumed that what is posted is fine, when it is clearly against the Word of God. If the errors of the post are presented, then it is anti-catholic, because the catholic faith is without error cause the infallible god of this earth sitting on the Vatican throne said so. .. If there's no unity among believers a lot of people will leave anyway. Saw it on a lot of forums. People get tired of it and go to their own group in church or on Facebook where everyone agrees and just build each other up.
