In Acts it talks of James who many believe was the brother of Jesus so yes there seems to be evidence to the fact that Jesus had siblings
Friend, there is no verse that says Mary HAD other children.... just equally as there is no verse that says Mary had NO other children. You rebuke Catholics for dogmatically insisting that Mary had no other children (because there's no verse, "Mary hath no other children") but in the same sentence, you insist that Mary HAD other children but can't find the verse "Mary hath other children." Pot calling kettle black? Self shooting self in foot?
"Brother" was a very, very loose term..... You and I are "brothers" in the sense in which the Bible uses the term. And of course, since step brothers were also simply called "brothers" (there being no word for "step brother"), James could have been a child of Joseph - we cannot prove from the term that Mary was the parent of James. You may ASSUME such - but then someone else can ASSUME something else. Point is: The Bible simply doesn't say. And so just as you rebuke the Catholic for dogmatically insisting on something the Bible doesn't say, you then rebuke yourself for dogmatically insisting on something the Bible doesn't say. You ASSUME one thing..... Catholics ASSUME something else - you are both ASSUMING and thus can't rebuke the other for ASSUMING.
