Not at all when we ask Christ in He comes but we must grow spiritually and enter into the realm of spiritual and leave the flesh behind or else we cannot enter in and be seated with Christ in heavenly places, that only happens in the spiritual. If Christ is in us that is a start but not the end it is a beginning, we spend the rest of our lives putting down the flesh and entering into the spiritual realm
I did observe that very few believe that saying the sinner's prayer means that the rest of one's life is irrelevant to final salvation.
