I don't know, but if the Dems can refrain from tampering with the ballots, Trump will win...by a large margin.

Harris because of lies like above and Vance thinks lies are ok. Trump just has to much baggage and has insulted about everyone. EVERY TIME HE OPENS HIS MOUTH IT IS A LIE IT SEEMS THANK gOD FOR FACT CHECKERS.

Harris has lied too, but the media hides it even though there is proof of her lies.

Harris talks about what she'll do, but she's had nearly four years in the White House and hasn't done them.

I don't care for either candidate but on balance I have to say I prefer Trump.

I still find it bizarre that Harris has come so far. The one who dropped out of the 2020 primaries before they'd really even got started, presumably because she realised her campaign was going nowhere. Then the party of diversity, having shaken off the kinda-sorta black woman, proceeded to shake off the fake Cherokee and the gay man before settling on another old angry white guy, who decided his running mate had to be a black woman because, well, reasons I guess. So the candidate nobody wanted got thrust to the top of the ticket.

Then for the 2024 the party that cares so much about democracy voted for Biden to carry their torch only for him to stand aside and Harris to be crowned pretty much just for being there. And then they blather on about protecting democracy some more. It's truly bizarre how a candidate can go from falling at the first hurdle to a coronation, all the while lecturing about democracy.

Because Democrats aren't voting the person...they're voting the party. I learned that the last election from my husband's family.

Unfortunately, Harris. I hope Trump takes the defeat well. ☹️

In fairness there are a number of Republicans who do the same thing.

Well, you had said, "I still find it bizarre that Harris has come so far." And it's not so bizarre since they're voting for the party and don't care about the person.

I don't know. Trump is going to get his 45%-47% no matter what he says or does. The question is how enthused Democrats are for a candidate they didn't pick? If enough Democrats shrug their shoulders and stay home then Trump will win.

However it goes, I hope it is a landslide. I want it to be a big enough margin that nobody can claim fraud and/or tampering made the difference.

Good point about the landslide!! It would help a lot of the country's tension.

True, although my point was more that she fell at the first hurdle in the 2020 election and went on to become something of a media darling.

Apparently stating that if you support abortion you're not pure of heart is not a civil thing to say... :cautious:

I wonder if it was aimed at "the lesser evil" or the last sentence which would be flaming people who support abortion?
