Your humility is amazing (I say sarcastically)
Thank you for the accusation of pride.
What it means is, that Matthew 7:1-5, Luke 6:41-42 are in operation.
I would exhort you to check yourself before you wreck yourself.
Allow me to give a short testimony.
At the beginning of my Christian walk I said to the Lord that I wanted Him to produce three virtues in my life as a Christian...humility, wisdom, and love.
Here is what He said to me:
Mat 7:7, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Mat 7:8, For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
I believe that in the asking of Him for these virtues, He gave them to me.
This conclusion is not based in pride but in faith.
He had to afflict me with a mental illness in order to produce all three virtues at the same time.
Because without my medicine to keep me humble, I would be proud of my wisdom and love.
But as it is, my wisdom is not inherent in my psyche, rather it is the spiritual gift of "the word of wisdom"...
Whereas, in my everyday life, I lack wisdom, even common sense;
Yet, when it comes to application of biblical doctrine, I find myself able to expound on the word quite easily.
