Why is the world being feminized, where feelings are more important than facts, safety more than fun and political correctness more than free speech?

I'm not sure about calling those developments examples of the world being "feminized," but. the bigger trend is towards eliminating every traditional norm--family, religion, patriotism, gender, etc.

And the purpose is to leave the people without independent and established bearings, thus making them easier to rule.

Totalitarian societies are always more easily governed than ones in which there is limited government and there are accepted standards of right and wrong that are transcendent and inviolable.

It is easier to control someone who is emotional. We are in the midst of a cultural revolution. If things don't change, we are heading towards becoming a totalitarian state. In both Canada and America.

Personally, I find toxic masculinity more of a daily occurrence. Read the news in any country, and see how many women are beaten, injured, and even killed by men every day. The reason is nearly always the same - the man went crazy when he couldn’t control the woman, e.g. get her back or make her obey some other requirement.

Feelings have always been rated as more important than facts, even when we prefer facts. But think some of my ‘facts’ would be different from yours.

I think a good case can be made for it being easier to control people who do NOT resent injustice, do not care if other people are being wronged, and do not oppose authoritarianism.

So it appears.

I'd say western society is being feminized for multiple reasons:

1) Lowering the birthrate. Women are encouraged to make a place in the world in terms of career, higher education etc. That can often mean postponing or even rejecting having children. More especially so because many women will not "marry down" - meaning they consider it demeaning to attach themselves to a male that isn't at least "on par" with them in terms of income/status etc. I find that interesting because men typically do not find it demeaning when it's the other way around.

2) Lowering the birthrate, again. Women aren't attracted generally to feminized men.

3) Lowering the general IQ of a people. This isn't to say women are generally less intelligent, but it can mean that, when it fits the definition you've provided.

4) Lowering the "fight back" will of the people. I'd say this applies to many couples in general. People that have partners have something to lose. Most men who fight in wars are young and un-married. Women tend to (generally, not as a rule) fawn over leaders, pastors, and submit to current power systems etc whereas men (generally, not as a rule) tend to be more independent minded and less prone to hero worship.

I don't think it's about lowering the birthrate, more about lowering the birthrate among stable families.

The way things are if you are a couple who works you don't get a whole lot of help from the state with the cost of raising kids. But if you don't work you can get more help. So the very wealthy can afford to have lots of kids, the poor can have lots of kids, but those in the middle struggle more. I think of a couple I know who manage to get by in an apartment that's just about big enough for them and their kids, all the while paying taxes so that another couple with 7 kids can be given the kind of house the working couple can only dream of having. Which also makes sure the couple with seven kids will never work because there's no way they could even afford their rent if they lost their subsidies.

Maybe not so much about lowering the general IQ of the people, although that's certainly underway. If you have people who don't understand what is being done to them it's easier to manipulate them, but it's also easy to manipulate them if they have something to lose. Welfare systems that offer you enough to get by, but that go away if you try to better yourself make it easy to keep people in enough poverty that they stay in line, without necessarily leaving them in enough poverty that they revolt.

4) Lowering the "fight back" will of the people. I'd say this applies to many couples in general. People that have partners have something to lose. Given how men can fawn over sports stars I'm not entirely sure this is accurate.
