...even if it means the end of free elections in our country? While I wouldnt vote for him he is honorable and honest, more than I can say for Trump, he is finally getting what he so richly deserves.
Trump is guilty if insurrection at the least and is a grifter and s conj man for sure. It is scary how many people blindly follow him no matter what he is guiolty of. He has insulted war heros, called Putin someone to be admired, and dishonored women everywhere by his actions. He is a cheater and a liar, all proven so for those who choose to follow him all I can say is you appear to be blind to what he really is....even if it means the end of free elections in our country?
Don't think that preventing a presidential candidate from making an effective run for office by issuing a hundred or so indictments against him at just the right time will be something only used against Donald Trump. Not if the current sequence of events goes the way those people want it to go.
As a comparison, when I was young the idea of impeaching a president was almost unthinkable, although we all knew that it was possible. But then came Watergate, and it became thinkable, and guess what?? Trump was impeached twice on vague charges during his one term in office, and that followed an impeachment of President Clinton earlier, and now today many legislators are calling for Biden to be impeached.
In almost all the dictatorships of the world, the rulers still allow elections, if you've noticed. They just make sure, in one way or another, that no challenger is capable of winning!
And it's also not unusual for a previous officeholder to be jailed on some charge or other after he's been ousted from his elected position.

Which president are you referring to there??? LOLHe has insulted war heros, called Putin someone to be admired, and dishonored women everywhere by his actions.
Not in the post to which I was replying, you didn't. But it's correct that previously you had written three words about Pence (''honest and honorable'') which was done in order to depict another candidate as lacking those qualities. As I said Pence is honorable he upheld the constitution as opposed to the man

We're facing a political trend in which the most extravagant language is used routinely (and incorrectly) in order to 'buffalo' the public which then repeats it uncritically. The "insurrection" that wasn't an insurrection is a good example of that trend.Did you listen to his speech? He asked for a peaceful walk/demonstration.
Trailing badly in all the polls, Pence apparently has decided to go on the offensive. Unfortunately for him, all the new approaches further alienate him from the Republican voters who will determine the Party's nominee. He doesn't seem to have much of a personality and you need that today.

Such things as attacking Trump and saying that the things in America which cry out for improvement aren't his concern might play well, in theory, with Democrats, but these aren't the people from whom he needs help.
