It's a surprise when I encounter anyone wearing a mask these days. The exception would be elderly persons who, I assume, already have some medical problem or have reason to feel more endangered than the average person. And if I think back to the start of Covid, I probably have seen in total only three or four people anywhere (other than in a hospital or clinic) who were sporting the actual N95 mask.I see is sometimes, 95% of the times I see it they are either just paper surgical mask or cloth. Rarely the N-95 mask. If I were to guess it would be maybe 1 in 50 people or less at this point here. I took several flights over the last week and only saw one person wearing a mask, to her credit it was a N-95 mask.
Interesting. If I am completely honest, and this is not intended to be a dig at people that choose to wear them, the majority of people that are wearing them at this point appear to have some sort of mental impairment or are homeless (or both). That is simply an observation of the people wearing them that are not traveling. It is also an observation based largely on the way someone looks.....but it is usually pretty clear. It's a surprise when I encounter anyone wearing a mask these days.
