I would feel safe. That guy is really changed.
Whoever sheds man’s blood,
By man his blood shall be shed;
For in the image of God
He made man.
Is that God installing the death penalty? This sounds just like: who grabs the sword shall be killed by the sword. And we can die with Christ. That's why there's now grace.
Jesus said that the disciples shouldn't carry a sword.
But it doesn't always work and He gave the sword to the govt.
Humanism and false christianity protect wolves and it looks like that false slimy stuff has gone from the church to the world. Be christian and give this unrepentant wolf the chance to kill and rape the next one. Hey how could it be that so many kids in church got raped? No idea. If you complain about a wolf you have to be more forgiving and they protect him to go on doing it.
Trump leaves Syria. Oh. Now we have to take those ISIS women back. Can't they kill em there? No. Laws. Hello sweethearts. Welcome back to Holland where you get a year prison and a house and govt money.
Lots of people 'change' in prison. Lot's of people get 'saved' in prison. And I'm sure for some, it is real. That doesn't revoke the death penalty. And yes, (Gen. 9:5-6) is the institution by God for the death penalty.
Before the flood man did not have that authority. that is why Cain was protected by God from any who tried to kill him. (Gen. 4:13-15) And it was why wickedness multiplied in the earth causing God to bring the Flood. So, in order to curb the wickedness of man, to slow it down, the death penalty was given immediately after the flood to man to exercise.
But once again, bleeding hearts would rather trust their emotions then obey God. And God says, ok. If you don't want to exercise the responsibility given you, then you can live with the results. Which is where we are at today.
As far as the individual believer is concerned, Jesus said the disciples were not to carry a sword when preaching the Kingdom to Israel. Once Israel rejected Christ, they were to carry a sword. (Luke 9:3, 10:4) (Luke 22:36-38)
Again, the death penalty was given to mankind. Not to the Church.
