God hates sinners. That's why he glorifies himself by sending them to hell's justice.

For God so loved the world. We all sin. Even now that we have salvation, we still sin daily and yet God loves us and even went to the cross for us.

So the tree comes after the apple?

The promise of the Savior was given in Genesis. Those who came before Christ's death on the cross had faith in the coming Savior and received faith by God's word that proclaimed the coming of the Savior. We receive faith in the proclaiming of the Gospel, that Jesus died for our sins and we are forgiven.

We don't work to get faith. It doesn't come from something within us. That's works.

But you are forcing a false definition onto the term world. It means kosmos which includes the New Heaven and Earth where Jesus died for all. Not until then has he died for all.

Jesus says people love darkness rather than light. How will they come to him if he doesn't save them first?

He does save us first. We can say He saved us in the promise of the Savior. We can say He saved us at the cross.

We don't come to Him because of our doing...we come to Him because He calls us and gives us faith (by His word).

You are teaching a type of works in saying that we have to do something before faith is given to us.

This is not what scripture teaches. How about where He says "all that the Father gives to me, will come to me". Did he die for those whom God damned?

That verse is saying that God calls people to salvation. He died for the world though. He died for all. He's a loving God.

Going to be late for church...gotta get going!

= salvation by works = not Christianity but Pelagianism.
1. Yes, we know you want to believe that's all true.
2. But it isn't.
3. Posting it in identical form several more times probably won't change anything.

It's basically what Luther taught in his "Bondage of the Will". And what all the reformers believed and taught. What is the history of your beliefs?

Wrong again, but I'm sure I'll be reading the same words from you a few more times, right?

Honestly and sincerely, I cannot figure why you are determined to reject almost anything someone else says around here, even if you have to post something as silly as the above retort...and do it without ever dealing with the message that they took the time to explain to you at your own request!

Wrong again...but I'm sure we'll have other opportunities to read exactly the same thing several more times.
Were the Reformers wrong?

First, what false claims do I make according to your flaming me?

Your false claims insist that Luther teaches Pelagianism...isn't that what you've been claiming here on this site?

Luther destroyed Pelagianism. As a Lutheran, you should know this. Shouldn't you? I teach only what Luther taught in the Bondage of the Will.
