Yo sup there! How are ye all doing today? Today, just playing some games on my phone before heading the sack tonight.

Finally resting and having some nuts as a snack before finishing up my 10,000 steps for the day.

Trying to figure out how to get my 10,000 steps in today. My allergies are really bad so I don't want to be outside.

I wasn't sure I'd get mine in today but managed to take in a walk before the rain. I've been coming in under these last few days - some days the weather makes it tricky and other days having our foster daughter with us means I can't just take off any time I choose. Now she's in school we can walk during the day, as long as the weather isn't hideous. Chasing her around with a basketball gets some steps in but usually isn't enough to get to 10,000.

This morning I went to a couple of quilt stores to get items I needed. Past time to oil the machine and I was out. Pieced another block and took naps. Lol. Having a hard time with the steps today too. Going to need to do a walk in the mornings now that it is much warmer out.

This project has 12 blocks that are each different and then 20 blocks that are the same. I have done 4 of the 12 so far. Makes a king sized quilt. Going to my daughter and her husband.

Fun at the church this evening. Our foster daughter wanted to play ball and wanted to invite some other kids. At really short notice it's not surprising that much of the time they can't come but today we managed to get three other kids at short notice. Because she's been with us for less than a week hasn't had chance to meet very many people but she's naturally really keen to make some friends her own age and hang out with them, so it was great to give her the chance to run and let off some steam with other kids.

We had planned to at least start watching a movie but she was tired out and wanted to go to bed. This has been a big week for her, moving to a new home and starting at a new school.

Been off work. I have a new full time job at an RV place as a receptionist. I'm not feeling well, but I do want to apologize for that snarky " farewell" I made a couple of months ago. I won't offer any excuses for it. We are who we are and instead of trying to convince you guys that I am who I say I am, maybe we should all just get reacquainted? As I mentioned, I've got a bit of a bug, but I'm taking meds for it and I'm well and truly sequestered, for seven days.

Good service at church today. Now my wife is making cookies with our foster daughter while I read some material ready for a meeting at church during the week. We're hoping at least a couple of kids will be free today to shoot hoops or something with her - since she's only been with us for a week she's desperately wanting to spend time with kids her age but hasn't had chance to make many connections yet. There are a few kids her age at church who have visibly accepted her into the circle, which is always encouraging.

This weekend I have done 2 loads of laundry, went to the symphony orchestra concert where the maestro played the pipe organ, attended worship and Bible Study this morning. Found a geocache on the way home. Trying to keep the mosquito bites from itching too much. It is officially mosquito time here. Thinking about a nap.

It was a good afternoon. The cookies are made - they don't all look very pretty but they taste good. And one of the kids at church was happy to come out and play with our foster daughter, so we let them run around with a variety of balls at the church. They seemed to shift back and forth between a variety of sports and from all accounts both had a good time. I think they were both pretty tired out by the end of it, which is good.

Had a pretty good day, got a nice hike in and made some pillowcase dresses for the little girls of Haiti. I think I'm getting more efficient at sewing them.

Howdy sup there guys man! How are you today? Today, I've just had my usual 3 hours weekly therapy session and have seen my psychiatrist both online and by phone. Tonight, just resting in bed before turning myself in.
