My Aunt is certain the rapture is this weekend

She texts me constantly about it but my understanding is that the judgment wont began until the last two witnesses are killed, 2 witnesses refers to the church or remnant of the church (where there is gathered two are more witnesses the Lord is present)...

Now the greek for martyr means witness, but revelation says that they would be dead and not buried and the world will rejoice three days with holidays and gift giving for the two that had tormented them so much... and then the two will be raised and stand on their feet and ascend into Heaven (again the two witnesses/2 lamp stands are the remnant of the Church) and the whole world will behold them and be terrified and then the first of the plagues will be unleashed as the heavens are opened up.

Revelation is symbolic literature so the two witnesses may refer to the last generation/remnant of the church (rapture) before the judgment.. but to say this weekend well, I must be missing something... She sent me this video and the guy seems to be using number play which the numbering system in our bibles is a later invention by the protestants for a guide to witness and for study references.. Can anyone help me understand what this guy is talking about?

I sincerely hope that they are not too terribly disappointed. I have seen dozens of these cases and some of them ended very very badly. End times predictions have a perfect track record --- 100% wrong, 100% of the time. I discount rapture theory completely. It is a theory concocted about 200 years ago and sadly it has succeeded in hoodwinking millions. Only in the USA has it gained any real traction and that in itself may be revealing.

I mean we are already ready so what's the big deal? The whole premise of signs was that they would comfort us knowing that Jesus told us of these things..
Terrible terrible things have happened to Christians ever since the beginning, and I believe that the man of sin must be revealed first after a great apostasy.. but why would a Christian be troubled for we will all face tribulation in life?
She believes it will be like the left behind series, the guy in the video has on his channel a list and one of them is to not ride along with a Christian driver this weekend if you arent ready :/

I see the signs, I do, but it only reassures me that the Spirit of Prophesy is no lie, it's comforting, but it doesn't mean I hope for that great and terrible day to come soon.. yes some who are slain will say "how much longer for the judgment of the world?" and they will be told "for a short season until the remnant is also slain".. a short season could refer to ones lifespan for not even the Son knows the day but the signs are to assure you that you are blessed for noticing them.
The world however will not repent and the kings will hide in caves in terror being non repented and shall have no rest day or night.. The Saints however will worship day and night in white robes

I believe the point of being given end time signs is being completely overlooked and abused, perhaps ignorantly through some circles via media, especially "youtube christianity" and TV evangelicals or who likely have some book to promote.

The signs aren't meant to give us the willies nor are they meant to sell books (making merchandise out of people) but Christians such as my aunt and uncle seem to grow more hostile and impatient and honestly do poorly at converting non believers by only preaching hellfire. Just hope they find peace in the "signs" and not anxiety and unrest.

The trouble is that when they are proven wrong they don't count as "false prophets", they receive another "progressive revelation" that explains why they were partially right the first time but now have another guess.

Well, looks like someone has some explaining to do. I suppose one could just admit they know far less then they thought or they can go the other way and just explain away everything by using a level of mental gymnastics that would warrant handing out a gold medal if it were an Olympic sport.
