I'm a little more awake this morning and it feels like Autumn outside at 47 degrees F!!!!

Meeting at church this morning, then a relatively leisurely walk. I was maintaining quite a reasonable pace but my pulse wasn't climbing much, until the hill at the end.

Howdy sup there! Today, I’ve just taken a shower and a hair wash. Tonight, just enjoying my usual TV show before hitting the sack.

Hello morning all, how are you? This morning, I’ve just gone outside for my usual walk, breathing exercises and yoga. It‘s and overcast, windy and cold day today, most perfect for my daily mindfulness and self-care routine. The afternoon, just enjoying my usual TV show before heading to bed tonight.

I started a run/walk routine exercise plan last Saturday and went today again for 40 minutes of running and walking, mainly walking.

Gentle walk with my wife, stopping at the local flea market. There's a vendor there who sells a load of her own stuff and also sells a small amount of baked goods for her friend. The baked goods are amazing. Today we had a raspberry pie and a loaf of apple bread. We also stopped to see another friend who sells donuts. Wednesdays aren't necessarily good for our waistlines but they taste good...

I remember the first time I met my wife's parents (we weren't married at that point!). It was quite a distance to travel so we had to stop overnight, and I remember waking up to an amazing smell of something cooking. Turned out her mother was baking blueberry muffins. They were amazing.

I'm the same way! You don't want to be away if a fire starts because of lint build up. No matter how careful we can be there can still be a problem we don't see in the vent to outside.

We clean the lint trap religiously but have quite a long pipe from the dryer to an outside window. I'd really like to move the washer/dryer elsewhere, partly to free up some space and partly so I can get rid of the long pipe and vent directly outside. It's just a question of where to put everything - it would be quite convenient to put it right by where the vent currently leaves the house but then it would be a hassle running plumbing to it. It's easy enough to run hot and cold water in, but getting the waste water out from there would be something of a headache.

Happy Friday all! Today, because it’s way too cold to go outside, just enjoying my usual TV show inside the house before heading the sack tonight.

Fun job, cleaning out the plug hole in the bathroom sink. The worst part of it is actually preparing for the job, I have to clear out the stuff in the space under the sink and find something to catch the drips when I remove the water trap. From there it's pretty simple - I've got a brush head on a flexible rod that I can just push down to clear everything out, and then just reassemble it all.

I'm not sure who designed the plug that operates on a rod between the taps - it saves having a plug on a chain but does create an obvious liability in that there's a much smaller space for water to flow through, making it more vulnerable to get clogged with something that might otherwise have just washed away.

Working on a pocket shawl for my sister. I have one more pocket to finish crocheting and then I have to sew both pockets onto the shawl.

Nice walk with my wife this morning. We went to our favorite brewpub last night and the combination of rich food and good beer made us wonder whether we'd be setting any records today. Curiously I felt like my legs just wanted to run and run but my head wasn't really in it, while my wife said her head wanted to push hard but her legs just wouldn't do it. She was the driver yesterday so had very little to drink, but the food was still rich.

Now I'm just whiling away some time until I head out to church. We have a funeral today and I'm working the sound desk for it. Then I can figure what to do with the afternoon.
