Happy Friday all! This morning, I’ve just taken a most peaceful and pleasant walk, meditation, breathing exercises and yoga outside. It has rained today thence it’s been a most refreshing and chilly day, perfect for my daily mindfulness and self-care routine. This afternoon, just enjoying my life TV show before dozing off tonight.

My set of tool bags arrived today. They should have been in Tuesday's shipment but were missing. The seller was remarkably swift to rectify the problem, it was less than 48 hours between telling him there were items missing and having the items in my hands. So now I have a pile of bags of tools instead of a pile of loose tools. At least now tools and accessories can go together rather than having endless things hanging around getting separated from each other. Now I just need a decent shelf to put it all on.

I've been thinking about which rooms in the basement to use for what purpose, bouncing around the idea of moving my woodworking to an adjacent room. On reflection I think it needs to stay where it is, where I've got enough headroom to work without having to worry about overhead pipes and things. The adjacent room has pipes and cables and stuff, which means it's just not as well suited for the job.

Happy weekend all! Today, I’ve just had leftover pizza with lemon iced tea for lunch. Tonight, just enjoying my usual TV show before tucking myself in bed.

Washing the pumpkins that have cured so they can get stored in the basement for a month.

Lazy morning. I tried to work on a coming sermon last night but really struggled to engage with it, so I turned off the computer and went to bed early. Today, weather permitting, I'm going for a walk in the woods and will ponder different aspects of it while I'm out.

Yo sup guys! How are you? Today, just been catching up on sleep since I’ve had yet another bad night last night.

I went for a walk in the woods and ended up doing a little under 12 miles. It was good to be back in the woods but I suspect I'm going to need a lot more time in the mountains to get my head back to where I really want it to be. I'm not sure I'm much clearer about my sermon but at least I've got some ideas of how to join ideas together, which was badly lacking when I was trying to work on it last night.

Yo sup all! How are you? Today, I’ve just had my weekly 3 hours usual therapy. Tonight, I’m too exhausted to do anything else but rest in bed before turning myself in tonight.

Waiting for the pharmacy to call so I can get my new prescription. My thyroid medicine is being increased and I look forward to having some energy again in a few weeks when it kicks in.

Had a Zoom meeting last night with a couple of friends from abroad. We had hoped to visit them and others earlier in the year but now we have no idea when travel is going to be a sensible proposition.

Lazy day today. I've been really tired, I ended up spending nearly three hours sleeping or dozing in my recliner and still feel like I just want to sleep for a week. I definitely need more time in the mountains.

Curious sight. My wife just called me to come to the kitchen quickly. Turned out we had a hawk, I think it was a broad-winged hawk, sitting on the fence. Then we got to watch it chase a squirrel. Sadly I think the squirrel escaped.

Howdy sup all! How’s it going so far with your day? Today, because it’s cold and pouring cats and dogs outside, just staying at home before heading the sack tonight.

Hi sup all! How are you? This morning, I’ve just been outside for my usual walk, breathing exercises and yoga. The afternoon, just enjoying a new Chinese time-travelling fantasy TV show called “Love better than Immortality” before hitting the pillow tonight.

My wife went to have coffee with a friend so I went for my longer walk, and pushed the speed higher than usual. I've tried a combination of walking and jogging before, and this time I increased the amount of time I spent jogging. Not surprisingly the result was shaving a few minutes off my previous personal best time for the loop. Over time I can hopefully improve my fitness to the point that jogging the uphill sections doesn't send my pulse very high very fast.

It will also help a lot to start jogging parts of the first mile. Much of the first mile is at least moderately uphill so I tend to use it as a warmup, then start the jog/walk combination at the beginning of a nice gentle decline.

Waiting for my husband to get home from work so I can take the vehicle to finally get my updated prescription that is waiting for me. I can't wait to start taking it and having it work and am tired of being tired. I didn't realize how slow I've gotten but it all makes sense now that my TSH needs to be suppressed more so I'm excited for it to work even though it takes 6-8 weeks.
